Software and quilting supplies for creating your own quilt designs.
Savings opportunities available through The Electric Quilt coupon codes
The Electric Quilt Company offers several ways to reduce quilting purchases: member savings, eligible upgrades and class bundles. Its shop sells quilt design software, books, add-ons and printable fabric. EQ Membership gives active members 5% off books, add-ons and printables, plus included Stash downloads. Registered EQ7 owners can purchase Upgrade from EQ7 to EQ8 for $99.95 USD after their license is accepted. Bundling the Beginner, Next Steps and Master Skills online classes saves $20. Email subscribers can receive special offers, and sharing a birthday opens another route to a personal discount.
Eligible products and services
Service categories frequently on promotion
Discount eligibility follows the product and the promotion you choose. The AQS member offer gives 25% off software, books and printables, with in-person and online classes exempt. EQ Membership covers books, printables and add-ons through its everyday discount, while EQ8 is excluded from that member benefit. Electric Quilt 8 offers Windows Download, Mac Download and License Card options. Upgrade purchases require the corresponding existing license before the reduced-price order can continue. For online education, the class bundle brings together Beginner, Next Steps and Master Skills in one order rather than separate purchases.
Services usually excluded from promo codes
EQ Membership purchases are excluded from discount codes, and EQ8 does not receive the everyday membership reduction. The AQS promotion excludes in-person and online classes and cannot be combined with another offer. Shipping is a separate consideration for physical purchases: charges depend on weight and destination, with delivery choices presented during ordering. The EQ8 License Card is a shipped box, so shipping charges apply to that option. Applicable United States sales tax and European Union or United Kingdom VAT also affect the purchase. These charges and product restrictions matter alongside the merchandise discount.
Factors influencing the final discount value
Impact of billing cycle on promotional price
EQ8 is a one-time software purchase, while EQ Membership renews annually at $24.95. The membership payment buys an active term of shopping perks and Stash downloads rather than an EQ8 subscription. Renewal notices arrive by email before the next membership charge. Members can change the credit card on file or cancel through their EQ Account. Cancellation forfeits membership perks, although Stashes downloaded before cancellation remain in the account. The yearly membership and the separate software license therefore have different billing arrangements. The class bundle reduces a single combined purchase rather than setting a monthly software payment.
Promo codes vs. automatically applied offers
A typed promotion and an EQ Membership benefit reach the cart differently. A promo code is entered in the cart and applied with Apply Promo Code before checkout. Existing members receive their eligible reduction automatically after logging into their EQ Account. Adding EQ Membership to a purchase also activates eligible cart benefits immediately, including the latest three Stash downloads at no charge. The member discount stacks with site sale discounts, but the AQS member promotion specifically cannot combine with other offers. Newsletter discounts for new subscribers apply only to people signing up for the first time.
Accessing active codes for The Electric Quilt
Choose your products and software option before using the offers on this page. Open View Cart at the top right of the website, locate Promo Code, enter the promotion and select Apply Promo Code. The discount appears against the total before you select Proceed to Checkout. For an EQ7 upgrade, the earlier purchase step requires your EQ7 License ID and License Password. Membership purchases do not accept discount codes; active member savings instead use account login. The AQS offer also has product and combination restrictions that determine whether the selected purchase qualifies. Scroll up for the current The Electric Quilt offers.

Enter your The Electric Quilt Company promo code in the cart; the reduction appears in the total before checkout. Add the chosen products first, then use View Cart in the upper-right corner of the website. The cart field is called Promo Code, and its action button is Apply Promo Code. After applying the promotion, the next purchase step is Proceed to Checkout. Existing EQ Members have a separate automatic route: logging into their EQ Account applies their eligible membership benefit in the cart. Software purchases also involve choosing the Windows or Mac download option before adding the product, while the License Card option is a physical shipment.
The Electric Quilt Company excludes EQ Membership purchases from discount codes, so a promotion cannot reduce the membership itself. Its subscription provides shopping benefits on other eligible purchases while the membership is active. Adding the membership to an order can activate the member reduction on books, add-ons and printables in that same cart. EQ8 is excluded from that everyday membership discount as well. Existing members access eligible automatic savings by signing into their EQ Account rather than entering a membership code. New-subscriber promotions have a different eligibility condition: they apply only to first-time email signups. The AQS member promotion separately excludes classes and cannot combine with another offer.
Yes, The Electric Quilt Company lets its EQ Membership discount stack on top of a site sale discount. That extra reduction applies to eligible books, printables and add-ons, with EQ8 outside the member discount. The AQS member promotion has a different rule and cannot be combined with another offer. Online classes have their own member benefit: the membership reduction can also accompany the EQ At Home bundle saving or apply to an individual class. An active membership is required for continued access to these perks. After a successful membership checkout, My Subscriptions in the EQ Account provides the details and access to the membership benefits.
Yes, registered EQ7 owners can get The Electric Quilt Company’s reduced-price Upgrade from EQ7 to EQ8 after their license is accepted. The upgrade provides the same full-featured software as EQ8. The Electric Quilt Company requires your EQ7 License ID and License Password when purchasing the reduced-price upgrade. Download purchasers can find those credentials in their account; boxed USB purchasers can use the USB case, and boxed CD purchasers can use the blue User Manual. HELP > About EQ7 also displays the license information inside EQ7. EQ7 does not need to be installed to use EQ8, and technical support can help with your EQ7 license ID.
The Electric Quilt Company renews EQ Membership annually, so eligible member savings continue with an active subscription until cancellation. The membership costs $24.95 per year and renews at $24.95, with an email notice before renewal. Payment uses the credit card on file, and that card can be changed in the EQ Account. The saved payment information is handled by Authorize.net. Cancelling forfeits the membership perks, including future shopping benefits, while Stashes already downloaded remain available in the account. This annual charge is separate from EQ8, which remains a one-time purchase. Membership access and benefit details are available through My Subscriptions after the signup checkout succeeds.
The Electric Quilt Company’s new-subscriber discounts apply to first-time email signups, and birthday details can qualify you for a birthday discount. The signup form asks for a name and email address and lets you share your birthday. Its Special Offers email option covers sales, promotions and EQ education. Registering EQ software or buying products does not necessarily subscribe you to those emails. A received promotion uses the shop’s cart entry process, with the reduction shown in the total before checkout. Member shopping benefits remain a separate automatic discount route for active EQ Membership accounts, while EQ Membership itself is excluded from discount-code purchases.
The Electric Quilt Company’s software refund eligibility depends on downloading and installation circumstances, so the download step matters for a discounted purchase. Once software has been downloaded, the right to a refund is forfeited. If you cannot install the purchase, or are dissatisfied before downloading it, contact Customer Service within 14 days of purchase to determine available help. Physical products follow a separate return process for purchases made directly from Electric Quilt. Unopened shipped items must be new and unused, and returns must be postmarked within 30 days of purchase. Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility, and Printable Inkjet Fabric – Factory Seconds cannot be returned.
Using a The Electric Quilt Company membership discount forfeits the right to a membership refund for the current term. This includes a member discount applied to other products in the same order used to join. If you have used none of the current term’s benefits, Customer Service accepts cancellation and refund requests within 14 days of the last payment. Membership perks become available immediately for eligible cart items when the subscription is added, so signup-order savings count as benefit use. The latest three Stash add-ons can also become free in that purchase. Cancelling ends membership perks, but previously downloaded Stashes remain in the EQ Account.
The Electric Quilt Company’s AQS member discount is obtained through Membership Benefits in your AQS account and redeemed in the shop cart. Within Membership Benefits, open the EQ discount post using Read more; the promotion appears at the bottom. The offer gives 25% off software, books and printables, with both online and in-person classes excluded. It cannot be combined with another offer. Redemption follows the Promo Code and Apply Promo Code cart steps, after which the total reflects the discount before checkout. EQ Membership is a different subscription programme whose own purchase excludes discount codes and whose everyday shopping reduction leaves EQ8 outside its eligible products.
You do not need a The Electric Quilt Company coupon for eligible free Stash downloads with an active EQ Membership. Members receive upcoming Stash downloads during the membership term and the three most recently released downloads. Add the eligible Stash products to the cart and complete checkout; the order total for those included downloads is $0.00. These benefits can start with the membership purchase itself when the latest three Stash add-ons share its cart. Other membership perks become accessible after the subscription checkout succeeds. Cancellation forfeits future perks, while downloaded Stashes remain in the account. Applying membership benefits also affects refund eligibility for that current membership term.
Yes. A The Electric Quilt coupon and a promo code are the same thing: paste the code in the promo field at checkout before you pay.
