Describely accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express for purchases made through its website. Payments are in U.S. dollars, with sales tax added where required, and the chosen payment provider is charged when you purchase. Your purchase and billing details must be current, complete and accurate, including the payment method and card expiration date. Only an account admin can buy usage credits, selecting quantities in Account under Plans before choosing Continue to Checkout. Confirm finalizes the purchase, so the card details need to be ready at that step. Before the admin completes a credit purchase, update the payment card’s expiration date and the account email if either has changed.

Describely product credits must be activated within one year of purchase. That activation deadline is separate from the period for working on each product: its first generation or audit starts a 30-day allowance. During those 30 days, one product credit covers unlimited content generations and audits for that product. The purchase is a one-time charge, with quantities selected by an account admin through Account and the Plans tab. This separates buying credits for a future project from starting the generation or audit work for an individual product. For a staged catalog project, schedule each product’s first generation or audit within one year of purchase and its revisions within the following 30 days.

An account admin can download a Describely website purchase invoice from Account, under Invoices. Open Account using your initial in the lower-left corner, then select the invoice you want to view or download at the bottom of the page. Access to invoices and receipts is restricted to account admins, who also handle usage-credit purchases. Those purchases start in the Plans tab, where the admin selects quantities before proceeding through Continue to Checkout and Confirm. The account dashboard also shows how many products have been purchased and how many are in the catalog. For a team purchase, have the account admin retrieve the invoice through Invoices using the account that made the purchase.

The High volume option is designed for catalogs of more than 500 SKUs, with custom pricing based on catalog volume and needs. It provides access to product description generation, data enrichment, image processing, store connectors and SEO tools, and includes an AI Visibility Audit across the catalog. The package also offers custom seats, so team requirements belong in the discussion alongside product volume. Image processing and data enrichment use additional credits rather than the content-generation allowance. When requesting pricing, include your catalog’s SKU count and the quantities you need for content, enrichment and image processing.

Describely product credits cover work inside the app; API usage draws from a separate token balance. Generating content through an external system therefore uses API tokens rather than the app’s product-credit pool. The API bills according to request size and complexity, including how much text is generated and how many fields are populated. Token usage and the remaining balance are visible in Account, under Plans. An account admin can select API token quantities there before proceeding to Continue to Checkout and confirming the purchase. Staging and production usage are tracked independently. Before running an automated batch, confirm which environment your API key uses and track consumption through the response metadata.

Describely purchases are paid in U.S. dollars, and sales tax is added where required. The payable amount therefore includes the purchase price plus any applicable sales tax. For website purchases, Describely charges your chosen payment provider when you make the purchase, and your purchase and account information must be accurate. An account admin purchases credits by opening Account in the lower-left corner, selecting Plans, and entering the quantities needed. Continue to Checkout leads to the purchase step, and Confirm finalizes the order. Describely accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express for website payments. Before selecting Confirm, review the credit quantities selected in Plans against the products you intend to process.
