Savings opportunities available through Guitar Pro coupon codes

Guitar Pro offers lower purchase routes for software licences and its mySongBook score library. Guitar Pro 8 costs €69.95 for new users, while eligible owners of earlier versions can choose the €34.95 upgrade. Students buying for private use receive a 50% discount through the Education Program. Longer mySongBook subscriptions reduce the monthly equivalent: the 12-month subscription saves 33%, and the 24-month subscription saves 50%. The Guitar Pro 8 cart also offers a 12-month mySongBook add-on at €20.00 instead of €40.00. The offers on this page belong alongside these product-specific purchase choices.

Eligible products and services

Service categories frequently on promotion

Guitar Pro separates the desktop licence, the upgrade and mySongBook subscription purchases. The full licence is for new users; the upgrade requires an earlier licence and validation of its details. Guitar Pro 8 is a lifetime purchase with a one-time payment and free 8.x updates. The score library has 1-month, 12-month and 24-month subscription options, each with its own upfront amount. Education pricing applies to students acquiring the software for private use. The applicable licence price is the published amount when ordering, and the cart identifies the selected product and tax-inclusive total before checkout.

Services usually excluded from promo codes

Guitar Pro's desktop software and mySongBook access are separate purchases, with the subscription listed independently and offered as an additional cart item. The mobile application is another separate product, sold through the mobile app platform; a desktop licence does not include it, and Guitar Pro cannot supply a redeem code for that purchase. Education licences are restricted to teaching and cannot be given away or sold. Online music services without private teachers do not qualify for the Education Program. Licence prices include taxes, while customers remain responsible for duties and taxes required under applicable foreign regulations.

Factors influencing the final discount value

Impact of billing cycle on promotional price

Longer mySongBook terms lower the monthly equivalent of the upfront payment. The 1-month subscription is €5.00, the 12-month subscription is €40.00, and the 24-month subscription is €60.00. Their listed monthly equivalents are €5.00, €3.33 and €2.50 respectively. These are purchased access periods rather than automatically renewing subscriptions. Access begins immediately for a new subscriber; buying another period while subscribed extends the current end date. When the period finishes, subscription access locks again apart from individually purchased scores. Guitar Pro 8 itself uses a lifetime licence with a single payment.

Promo codes vs. automatically applied offers

Guitar Pro's built-in purchase savings use different steps from a typed voucher. The mySongBook term prices already show the savings for longer access periods. The desktop cart presents a separate subscription add-on with a reduced amount and its own Add to cart button. Upgrade pricing depends on entering an existing licence on the upgrade product page, before adding that product. A typed promotion instead goes through Have a promo code? in the cart and the Add control. The selected products, their amounts and Total (tax incl.) appear together before Proceed to checkout.

Accessing active codes for Guitar Pro

Choose Guitar Pro 8, its upgrade or a mySongBook subscription before adding the purchase to the cart. Upgrade buyers first select their existing version and enter the corresponding licence details. In Shopping Cart, open Have a promo code? beneath the total, enter the offer in the Promo code field, and select Add. The summary contains the product amounts and Total (tax incl.) before Proceed to checkout. An unrecognized voucher triggers “This voucher does not exist.” Checkout continues with personal information, addresses and payment; the order requires acceptance of the terms before payment. Guitar Pro Discount FAQs

Enter your Guitar Pro promo code through Have a promo code? in Shopping Cart, then select Add. The box opens beneath the order total and uses the placeholder Promo code. Before that step, the product must be added to the basket: the full licence, an upgrade or a chosen mySongBook subscription. An upgrade also requires the existing version and licence details on its product page. The basket displays the selected items and their amounts beside Total (tax incl.), with Proceed to checkout below the promotion area. After the basket stage, the purchase flow requests personal information and moves through addresses to payment. Acceptance of the sales terms is required before the payment is made.

Guitar Pro displays “This voucher does not exist.” when a voucher is not recognized. The message appears in the cart promotion area after the Add action. Licence credentials have a separate purpose: the upgrade product asks for the current version and a License or User ID and Key ID to validate reduced upgrade pricing. The cart's Promo code field is the entry point for a voucher rather than that licence-validation step. The upgrade page includes a License forgotten? link for retrieving the required details. A buyer without an earlier licence can use the full version purchase linked from the upgrade page. The basket still shows the selected products and tax-inclusive amount before checkout.

Yes, Guitar Pro gives owners of versions 1 to 7 preferential upgrade pricing after their existing licence is validated. The Guitar Pro 8 upgrade is €34.95, while the full version for new users is €69.95. On the upgrade page, the version selector distinguishes Guitar Pro 7 from Guitar Pro 1 to 6. The required information is entered into the License field or the User ID and Key ID fields for the selected version. That validation comes before Add to cart, rather than being entered as a shopping-cart voucher. The resulting purchase provides a lifetime Guitar Pro 8 licence with free 8.x updates. A License forgotten? link provides the recovery route on the same upgrade form.

The Guitar Pro Education Program gives students a 50% discount when they acquire the software for private use. The programme works through educational institutions and tutors, with public and private establishments eligible to apply. Registration requires an official application bearing the establishment's name and address on letterhead. Once created, the education account is reviewed within 7 to 10 days, followed by an email inviting the applicant to recover the establishment's licence. That teaching licence and the preferential purchase rate for students serve different uses: one equips the establishment, while the other covers a student's private copy. The establishment licence is strictly for teaching and cannot be given or sold to students as their personal licence.

Yes, nonprofit organizations are eligible for the Guitar Pro Education Program, alongside educational institutions and private tutors. The programme provides a free multi-computers licence for the establishment's equipment and preferential private-use pricing for its students. The education licence is limited to teaching purposes, so it cannot be passed on or sold as a personal copy. The sign-up process asks for an official establishment application with its name and address on letterhead. Account validation takes 7 to 10 days before an email explains how to recover the multi-computers licence. Online music services that do not involve private teachers are outside this programme's eligibility; Guitar Pro directs those services to contact it about specific offers.

No, the longer-term mySongBook savings are included in the listed subscription amounts before a Guitar Pro voucher is entered. The 12-month subscription is €40.00, shown as €3.33 per month with a 33% saving. The 24-month subscription is €60.00, equivalent to €2.50 per month with a 50% saving. These amounts purchase the selected period upfront; the shorter 1-month option is €5.00. Each term has an Add to cart button, and the basket names the subscription alongside its amount. The purchased period starts immediately for a new subscriber, or extends the end of an existing subscription. Subscription printing is included, and the access period ends without an automatic renewal charge.

Your Guitar Pro mySongBook subscription ends after its purchased period without automatic renewal. A new subscriber's access starts immediately after purchase, while an existing subscriber receives an extension equal to the newly purchased period. At expiry, access to subscription scores locks again, except for scores already purchased individually. Printing scores accessed through the subscription requires a valid subscription period. Purchasing another access period extends the subscription rather than creating a recurring charge authorization. The available periods are 1 month, 12 months and 24 months, with longer terms carrying lower listed monthly equivalents. A subscription purchase also has a 14-day withdrawal period starting from purchase, which is distinct from the end of its access term.

Yes, the free Guitar Pro 8 demo lets you use all software features for 7 days before purchasing a licence. The download form asks for an email address and acceptance of the terms of use, privacy policy and newsletter and promotional offers. Promotional email subscriptions can be cancelled through unsubscribe. After the demo period, continuing to use the software requires purchasing a licence. The trial also supports an upgrade decision because earlier licence holders have a separate preferential purchase route. Activation matters for a later refund: only an unactivated licence bought on guitar-pro.com qualifies for the software refund process. Separately, mySongBook remains accessible after the software trial ends through its score access service.

A Guitar Pro software refund is available only if the licence remains unactivated and the purchase was made on guitar-pro.com. The request must be submitted within 30 days of the order, using the refund contact form and specifying the order number. Guitar Pro examines the application within 7 days and communicates the result by email; a reason for withdrawal is not required. The free demo provides all software features before purchase, so using that trial does not require activating the purchased licence. For a mySongBook subscription, the separate withdrawal period is 14 days from purchase. The software refund condition concerns activation, while subscription withdrawal is tied to its own purchase window. Keeping the software licence unactivated preserves eligibility for that request.

Guitar Pro accepts credit cards, PayPal, payment options through Stripe and bank transfer for orders. Card choices include Visa, MasterCard and American Express, with the chosen card's details entered before validating payment. PayPal payments use its payment interface, while a bank transfer uses the banking information supplied by Guitar Pro. The licence amount includes taxes, and the basket labels its final amount Total (tax incl.). Applicable foreign duties and taxes remain the customer's responsibility. The purchase is concluded when Guitar Pro receives full payment; the licence and download are then available from the accepted payment page and confirmation email. The confirmation summarizes the order details and total, and includes a link for printing the invoice.
