Services usually excluded from promo codes

Referral coupons remain valid for one month after receipt. InstaPoints last six months outside Singapore and one year for Singapore accounts, although promotional points can have a different validity period. The sending and receiving countries, amount and payment method determine the underlying transfer fee, so the transaction details matter when reviewing a discount. Instarem shows its fees, your payment amount and the recipient's amount during setup. If an unexpired coupon still fails after its conditions are met, the customer experience team handles the enquiry. Personal account support is available through Profile and Help on the app or web, with a ticket or chat option.
Instarem referral bonuses cannot be combined with other promotions or vouchers. Each bonus must be used individually and according to its own terms. This restriction covers the referral promotion's bonuses, vouchers, gift cards and other benefits. Those benefits are also non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit. A partially used or unused bonus cannot be refunded or exchanged. Referral registration has a separate limit: a new customer can use only one referral code or personalised link when signing up. The referrer receives the bonus at their registered email address, and its validity runs for one month from receipt.
Existing Instarem customers can redeem earned InstaPoints for money transfer discounts in the app. Points come from signing up, successful referrals and eligible transactions, so the reward route continues beyond registration. The loyalty programme is for individual users, and European money transfers must be at least EUR 500 to earn points. A bigger qualifying transfer earns more points. Closing an account cancels and forfeits all rewards held in that account.
Sign up through your friend's personalised Instarem referral link to receive the first-transfer reward when the promotion's conditions are met. The reward is discounted fees or a special exchange rate on your first transaction. Registration and that first transfer must both fall within the qualifying period, using the website or mobile app. In Europe, the minimum first transfer for your referrer to qualify for their reward is EUR 100. The transaction must complete successfully and reach Paid to Beneficiary status before the qualifying period ends. A transfer delayed beyond that period by banking or regulatory processes does not qualify for either participant's promotional reward.
Instarem referral promotions exclude employees, corporate customers and self-referrals made through a second account. The promotion applies to eligible registered and approved personal customers. The bonus is sent to the referrer's registered email address after a successful referral. The promotion rewards up to ten successful referrals, with one reward for each qualifying friend. Each received reward remains valid for one month, and bonuses must be used individually. The coupon cannot be combined with another promotion or voucher. Transaction setup presents the sending amount, Instarem's applicable fees and the amount the recipient will receive.
Instarem InstaPoints expire after six months outside Singapore and after one year for accounts registered in Singapore. Points earned through promotions can have a different validity period. For accounts registered in Singapore, you can view your total InstaPoints balance and its SGD equivalent in the app, alongside an expiry countdown. It also includes the full history of points earned and redeemed. Instarem sends reminders before those points expire. Redemption limits remain transaction-specific: the allowed minimum and maximum may vary, and the app carries the latest limits. Account closure forfeits rewards, so the balance and expiry details govern what remains available for redemption.
Instarem supports Debit Card and Bank Transfer for customers registered in Europe. Funding options are tied to the country of registration. The transaction fee also depends on the payment method, alongside the sending country, destination and transfer amount. Instarem's calculator displays current fees and rates after the destination and payment method are selected. Before confirming a transaction in the app, you can review its applicable fees, taxes and exchange rate. Sender or recipient bank charges sit outside Instarem's transaction fee and may reduce the deposit or delivered amount. The chosen payment method also determines the applicable rate lock period for funding the transfer.
An Instarem discounted transfer can be cancelled only while its processing stage still permits cancellation. An unfunded transaction has a cancel button on the transaction history page. If you have already sent the funds, cancellation needs the customer experience team by email or chat. Instarem processes cancellation requests only before initiating the transfer to the beneficiary, and a successful cancellation is not guaranteed. Once the recipient has received the funds, the transfer cannot be cancelled. An unsuccessful or incomplete transaction returns funds through the original funding method. A cancelled or rejected first transfer does not count as a successful referral for the promotion.
An Instarem refund after a recalled, cancelled or incomplete transfer may include charges, expenses and foreign exchange losses. Returned funds use the same method you originally used to fund the transaction. Foreign exchange losses can arise when the return is converted at the prevailing rate. After refund processing, the estimated return time is 24 to 72 business hours for bank transfers or 5 to 7 business days for debit or credit cards. Weekends and bank holidays are excluded, and the bank's processing time can change the timeline. Referral bonuses are treated separately: unused or partially used promotional benefits have no refund or exchange.
