For Team purchases, the account icon leads to Homepage, then Pricing and Get Team, where you choose a subscription for your needs. The Team bill adjusts at the next billing cycle to match the number of members, so the selected billing term and seat count both affect the subscription. Annual plan credits replenish monthly during the term, and unused monthly credits are cleared at each refresh. Annual billing lowers the subscription rate; it does not turn monthly plan credits into a rolling balance.
Existing Manus web subscribers can use a coupon on an upgrade, with the payment calculated for their current plan’s remaining time. Subscription changes are accessed through the purchase interface, or through Account and Manage Subscription in the app. Manus requires upgrades to stay on the platform where the original subscription was purchased; web subscribers continue through Stripe. Moving to a higher monthly plan from a monthly plan, or a higher annual plan from an annual plan, leaves the subscription cycle unchanged. The coupon is applied as part of the remaining-time calculation, and the additional credits are issued proportionally. Staying within the same billing term preserves the original cycle while changing the subscription tier.
A Manus promo code upgrade allocates extra credits proportionally rather than automatically issuing the higher plan’s full credit allowance. The calculation considers the remaining proportion of the current credit cycle and the total credit ratio between the targeted plan and the current plan. Its payment calculation also applies the coupon to an upgrade amount based on the remaining subscription time. For monthly-to-monthly or annual-to-annual web upgrades, the subscription cycle does not change. Unused monthly credits still clear when the original credit cycle ends, even after a mid-cycle upgrade. The increased allocation arrives when the next cycle begins. A mid-cycle coupon upgrade therefore follows the existing refresh schedule instead of starting a fresh full credit month.
Manus renews subscriptions at the then-current pricing unless you cancel before renewal. A subscription authorizes payment both when you subscribe and at the beginning of subsequent subscription periods. Changes to subscription fees become effective after the current term, and Manus provides reasonable advance notice before they take effect. A downgrade takes effect at the next renewal cycle, with its timing available in the account/usage tab. Cancellation stops future renewals while preserving access through the end of the paid subscription period. It does not refund fees already paid for that period. Acting before the current billing cycle ends prevents the next renewal charge; cancellation after a billing attempt only stops later renewals.
Cancel your Manus free trial before it is charged to prevent payment after the trial expires. The Pro option starting at $40 a month includes a seven-day free trial, and cancellation timing determines whether the first payment occurs. For a web subscription, open the profile avatar at the top right, select Account, and then choose Upgrade or Manage. The Downgrade to Free control is at the bottom right of the subscription page and completes cancellation. If payment has already occurred, canceling only prevents the next renewal and does not refund that charge. Subscriptions purchased through an app store must be canceled through that store’s subscription controls. Uninstalling the app leaves the subscription active.
Alipay supports standard Manus subscription payments but cannot be used to start a free trial. Trial subscriptions require another supported method, such as a credit/debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link. Once the trial ends, or when upgrading directly to a paid subscription without a trial, Alipay can be selected as the payment method. Web payment changes are made through Account, Manage and Edit billing. Add the new payment method before deleting the old one to complete that change. Payments made through an app store require payment changes in that store instead. Choosing a trial-supported method enables the trial route; choosing Alipay is compatible with the direct paid subscription route.
Manus may refuse a refund when a subscription was purchased through a promotion, coupon or discounted pricing. Payments for subscriptions, credits and other paid features are final and non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise. Manus can consider an exceptional partial refund at its discretion, calculated from the proportion of unused credits and excluding discounts, promotions and taxes. Consumers residing in the European Union, United Kingdom or Turkey have a withdrawal right within 14 days under applicable consumer protection laws. A refund request therefore depends on eligibility, purchase conditions and any applicable legal rights. Used credits or consumed services can also lead to refusal. Canceling the subscription alone does not initiate reimbursement for the current paid period.
Request a Manus membership refund through the Help Centre chat after signing in to the account associated with the purchase. Provide the order or invoice number, the account email or username, and a short reason for the request. Manus support then contacts you, and eligible requests are processed under the refund policy, including its conditions for discounted purchases. Approved amounts return to the original payment account within 1–15 business days. Alipay payments can only be refunded through their original payment method within 90 days of payment. Apple subscription refunds must instead be requested directly from Apple. Supplying the purchase identifiers lets support associate the request with the transaction and check its eligibility.
Switching an accidentally purchased Manus annual subscription to monthly billing depends on whether the annual purchase meets the refund requirements. Send Manus your invoice or an invoice screenshot, preferably including the order number, receipt number or payment email information. If the refund requirements are met, staff process the refund and you can then subscribe to a monthly plan. If they are not met, you can subscribe to the monthly plan after the annual subscription period ends. Discounted purchases are among the purchases for which Manus reserves the right to refuse refunds. Annual Pro and Team billing has a 17% reduction compared with monthly billing. The annual-to-monthly route follows refund eligibility rather than an immediate automatic conversion.
Eligible startups can receive six months of Manus Team for up to 20 seats through the Manus for Startups programme. Open applications are paused, and new applications are accepted through the VC partner network. If your lead investor is a Manus partner, the application begins with a referral link from that investor. Listed eligibility includes being less than five years old and having raised between $500,000 and $50 million in total equity. The programme addresses new Manus users, with perks also available to existing users whose teams qualify. Existing eligible teams can contact the startup team at its listed email address. A partner referral is the entry route for new applications during the pause.
