PortraitFlip coupons and deals for custom portrait paintings and sketches from photos.
Savings opportunities available through PortraitFlip discount codes
PortraitFlip makes custom portraits from photos, and the offers on this page help you look for a discount on your painting. Medium matters to the starting price: pencil sketches and charcoal drawings start at $89, while watercolor paintings start at $129.
Eligible products and services
Service categories frequently on promotion
Oil and acrylic paintings each start at $149. Color pencil sketches start at $129, and pastel paintings start at $149. Bulk orders have a separate discount route: request a quote by email for the quantity you want to order.
Services usually excluded from promo codes
The displayed painting price excludes express shipping, framing and the time-lapse video service. These are additional selections during purchase, so the painting price is only one part of an order with extras.
Factors influencing the final discount value
Impact of billing cycle on promotional price
Payment of the full price is completed after approval of the painting and its customizations through online proofing. Additional charges depend on the shipment and extra services you request.
Promo codes vs. automatically applied offers
A typed coupon goes in the top bar at checkout. For a bulk-order discount, the route is an email request to PortraitFlip.

Enter your PortraitFlip coupon code in the top bar at checkout. That is the entry point for the code you select from the offers on this page. Take your chosen coupon to that checkout step. PortraitFlip places the coupon entry at the top rather than within the painting description.
PortraitFlip custom portraits start at $89 before a coupon discount. Pencil sketches and charcoal drawings share that starting price. Watercolor paintings and color pencil sketches start at $129. Oil, acrylic and pastel paintings start at $149. These are starting prices for the different media, rather than a specific saving promised by a coupon.
Yes, PortraitFlip offers discounts on bulk orders by email request. This gives buyers ordering several portraits a quantity-based route to a discount. Ask PortraitFlip for a bulk-order discount by email when arranging that purchase. The request concerns the bulk order, rather than the starting price of one pencil sketch or painting.
Yes, PortraitFlip’s Free Service adds no delivery charge, while Express Service adds 15% to the painting value. The service selection comes after the portrait’s size, characters and customization choices, before Secure Checkout. Free Service lists a total turnaround of 23 days, compared with 14 days for Express Service. Express delivery therefore changes the amount payable alongside the selected artwork and any additional services. The terms require confirmation of the full order price when the order is accepted. Payment of the remaining balance follows final painting approval. Express charges can be refunded if delivery misses the guarantee’s stated window, with store credit available as an alternative.
Your business can apply for PortraitFlip’s Partner Program to receive its 25% discount on orders. The programme serves outlets with customers interested in handmade portraits, including Gift Shops, Art Galleries, Pet Shops, Photographers and Photo Studios. Partners can sell the artwork under their own brand and pair it with their existing products or services. The application uses a contact form, after which a dedicated manager gets back to the business. Communication takes place with your company by email rather than directly with your customers. Joining does not require an investment, and Partnership Program participants are not eligible for refunds under the purchase terms.
Contact PortraitFlip by email or through its chat widget if your promo code does not apply at checkout. The entry box opens from the coupon prompt above billing details, rather than from the portrait customization steps. “Coupon code” is the field’s placeholder, and the adjacent button submits what you enter. The checkout also lists the artwork’s character count and dimensions under YOUR ORDER, alongside the payment breakdown. For questions that the checkout message does not resolve, PortraitFlip offers email assistance and a customer service chat widget. The same support team can answer questions through the widget at the lower left of the main website.
Yes, PortraitFlip allows two different cards for the deposit and the remaining payment on an order. The initial share is 20%, with the other 80% payable after the final painting preview is approved. Payment uses debit or credit cards through Stripe, and the website charges in US dollars. Your bank handles currency conversion at your expense when conversion is needed. A request by email can arrange instalments for the remaining balance, while the deposit does not have a customized payment plan. The second payment includes any chosen delivery or additional services. Completion of that payment moves the approved artwork into the shipping process.
Raise a PortraitFlip return for dissatisfaction within 7 days of receiving the painting, with the artwork in its original packaging. A quality check takes place before a refund is initiated, and successful inspection is required for returns or replacements. PortraitFlip decides whether a return request is valid. The guarantee also requires faulty paintings to be returned within 7 days of receipt when a return or replacement is involved. Once approved, a refund can go back to your account or become store credit toward another purchase. The stated account processing period is 5–7 working days. A third return or refund is not initiated when you have already raised more than two requests within 365 days.
