TouchNote offers Monthly and Annual memberships, with discounts and local sales tax able to affect final membership pricing. The Monthly plan adds its prepaid allowance immediately and again at each monthly renewal. Annual membership adds its allowance to the account at the beginning instead. Cancelling therefore affects the next subscription charge and the time available to use the remaining allowance. The account provides the renewal information needed to time that cancellation.

TouchNote members get discounted extra credit packs when their prepaid membership allowance is not enough. Top-ups contain 5–90 extra credits and can supplement the credits included in a membership. Additional credits can be purchased through the app or website. Eligible credits are applied automatically during checkout, rather than requiring a separate payment for each covered postcard. The checkout system draws from applicable paid and bonus balances proportionately. Purchased and bonus amounts are recorded separately, with the combined balance shown under “Credit” in the account. If credits are not applied, the correct account and sufficient available balance matter. TouchNote for Business sells bulk credits directly at reduced rates, with the rate depending on the volume purchased. Business purchases start at 200 credits, and purchased credits are valid for 12 months by default. Credits can cover postcards or greeting cards, and a membership can be included according to the business's needs. The purchased balance can sit in a central account or be split between different user accounts. Worldwide postage is free on those cards. A business needing several senders can request the account split when arranging its credit purchase.

A faulty or substantially misdescribed TouchNote personalised card can qualify for a refund of the amount paid. Personalised products do not have a standard change-of-mind cancellation and return right. For a qualifying fault, TouchNote asks for the item to be returned within 3 business days of receipt. The refund goes to the card used for payment; a reprint and resend can be offered instead. A refund and resend are not both provided for the same issue. Misspelt personalisation, low-resolution uploaded images and faults caused by misuse do not qualify for this refund. A preview is shown before the order is placed. That preview gives you the opportunity to review personalisation before committing the discounted purchase.

TouchNote deducts services already bought with prepaid credit at their standard rate when calculating a qualifying payment-on-account refund. The refund request must reach customer services within 14 days of the original transaction. The calculation starts with the original payment and subtracts the standard-rate value of those services. Any refund goes back to the credit card, debit card or PayPal account used for the original purchase. Purchased credit and bonus credit are recorded separately, although the total appears together in the account's “Credit” balance. Eligible orders use both balances automatically and proportionately. Membership fees follow separate non-refundable membership terms. Using promotional bonus credit therefore differs from receiving cash back, and prior service use changes the payment-on-account refund amount.

A TouchNote membership trial becomes paid unless cancelled according to the trial conditions. When a trial is offered, signup requires credit or debit card details and selection of a membership period. TouchNote preauthorises a small card amount and voids it immediately to check the payment details. At the end of the trial, the chosen payment method is charged the fee applicable at signup for the selected membership period. Membership then renews automatically unless cancelled, and a valid payment method must remain on file. Monthly membership renews monthly, while annual membership renews annually. Trial cancellation controls whether that first membership charge occurs, so cancelling within the trial's conditions changes the outcome.
