Warp provides a modern terminal and coding agents for software development.

Savings opportunities available through Warp coupon codes

Warp offers a free starting point and lower annual subscription rates for its terminal and coding agents. Free includes core terminal features at $0 a month. Build is $20 a month on monthly billing or $18 a month on the annual plan. Larger add-on credit purchases provide volume discounts, giving customers another way to reduce their usage rate. Paid plans include a monthly credit allowance, while extra credits extend usage beyond that allowance. The offers on this page should be considered alongside the selected subscription term and any separate credit purchases.

Eligible products and services

Service categories frequently on promotion

Warp promotions depend on the selected plan. Some promotion codes work only with specific subscriptions and expire after a set period. Build, Max and Business have monthly and annual options, while Enterprise uses custom pricing and terms. Business is billed per user, so the team size helps determine the subscription amount before a discount. Upgrading a team applies the same plan to all active members. New members are charged for their remaining time in the billing cycle. A promotion attached to one plan does not transfer when that subscription is upgraded to another plan.

Services usually excluded from promo codes

Additional usage and taxes are separate from Warp's advertised subscription rates. Add-on credits are purchased separately when customers want usage beyond their included allowance. The stated subscription prices exclude taxes, fees and duties. Factory usage is also billed separately for inference, compute and agent usage. Enterprise has custom shared usage pools and terms rather than a standard self-service amount. These separately billed items need their own budget alongside a discounted subscription. Warp authorizes recurring charges, applicable overages and taxes against the payment method on file.

Factors influencing the final discount value

Impact of billing cycle on promotional price

Annual billing lowers Warp's displayed monthly equivalent for paid subscriptions. Max is $200 a month with monthly billing or $180 a month on the annual plan. Business is $50 per user a month monthly or $45 per user a month annually. An existing monthly subscription can move to annual billing with a prorated charge at the discounted rate for the remaining portion. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled, and renewal orders use the then-current standard fees unless the order specifies otherwise. Published price changes do not apply retroactively to an existing subscription term.

Promo codes vs. automatically applied offers

Warp allows each account only one promotion-code redemption. That rule makes the promotion a first-time redemption benefit rather than a repeating source of discounted access. Annual plan rates and larger credit-pack discounts are separate published pricing choices. Auto-reload purchases use the same denominations and discounts as manual credit purchases. Auto-reload starts disabled for new subscribers; enabling it creates automatic credit purchases within a selected monthly spending limit. The subscription billing cycle and the credit spending limit operate separately, with the limit resetting at the start of each calendar month.

Accessing active codes for Warp

Warp subscriptions can be started online or through the app's billing settings. The in-app route begins at Settings, then Billing and usage, followed by the Upgrade link. Customers can subscribe individually or with a team, and the upgrade applies to the team's active members. The online route starts with Start Today on the pricing page. After payment details are submitted, Warp sends an invoice and confirmation by email. Billing questions go to billing@warp.dev. The offers on this page remain subject to Warp's plan eligibility, expiry and first-time redemption rules. Scroll up for the current Warp offers.

Warp Discount FAQs

Warp can reject a promo code because of prior redemption, plan restrictions or expiry. Each account gets only one promotion-code redemption, so a second promotion cannot replace an earlier use. Some promotions are limited to particular plans and have their own expiry period. Warp can also disable a promotion and cancel the associated subscription when the promotion is abused. The subscription route is Settings, then Billing and usage, then Upgrade; billing assistance is available at billing@warp.dev. A subsequent upgrade loses the original promotion and is charged at full price. The selected subscription must satisfy the promotion's specific plan restriction for that discount to apply to the purchase.
A Warp promo discount applies only to the plans eligible for that particular promotion. The self-service choices include Build, Max and Business, with monthly and annual billing available on the pricing page. Enterprise subscriptions instead have custom pricing, credit allowances and terms arranged with the sales team. For a team subscription, upgrading changes the plan for your own account and every active member; individual members cannot mix different subscription plans within that team. Once payment details are entered, an invoice and subscription confirmation arrive by email. A later move to a different plan removes the promotion, so retaining the eligible subscription preserves its attached benefit.
You cannot combine two Warp promotion codes because each account is limited to one promotion-code redemption. Eligibility is attached to first-time redemption, and individual promotions can also have plan restrictions and expiry periods. A promotion on the current plan does not follow an upgrade to another subscription. Annual billing is a separate plan selection, and switching from monthly to annual billing produces a prorated charge for the remaining portion at the discounted rate. The billing portal supports that switch through Manage billing. For an existing promotion, billing@warp.dev is the contact for account-specific billing questions before changing the subscription or attempting another redemption.
Warp renewal orders use the then-current standard fees unless your order specifies otherwise. The service and its subscription charges renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled under the terms. Warp can change its published pricing, but those changes do not apply retroactively to a subscription term already in progress. The billing portal lets you view invoices, change billing details and cancel the subscription. Cancellation keeps paid features available through the end of the monthly or yearly cycle. Your order's renewal terms therefore determine the charge after a promotion, while cancelling through Manage billing stops the subscription from continuing into another cycle.
Your Warp promo discount does not transfer to another plan, and the upgrade is charged at full price. Changing paid plans also carries over the usage already accumulated in the current cycle. The new plan's monthly credit allowance becomes available immediately when you upgrade. For a team, the subscription change covers all active members rather than only the person initiating it. Downgrading is different: it takes effect immediately and creates an account balance for the prorated difference in remaining subscription time. That balance can fund future subscriptions or credit purchases. Keeping the promotion's original eligible plan avoids the full-price change caused by a plan upgrade.
You can switch an existing Warp monthly subscription to annual billing at a prorated discounted rate. The charge covers the remaining annual portion that you have not already paid for. Open the Warp upgrade page, then use the profile menu to reach Manage billing, or open that portal through Settings and Billing and usage in the app. The portal also contains your invoices and billing details. Annual billing does not make included monthly credits accumulate: unused subscription credits expire at the cycle reset and cannot be transferred to another account. The reset information is available in Billing and usage, helping you use the allowance before it expires.
Warp does not offer student or nonprofit discounts or program credits. The Free plan includes core terminal features, providing a starting point for individual or community use. That plan does not bundle usage for the Warp Agent, but Free users can purchase add-on credits without taking a paid subscription. Those purchases use a higher rate than the same packs on paid plans. Purchased credits roll over and remain valid for 12 months from purchase, including after a move to Free. A tax-exempt organization can separately request exemption with its proof and account email before paying. The billing team must change the account's tax status before the organization subscribes.
Warp's subscription refund rules depend on billing term, cancellation timing and whether credits have been used. For a monthly subscription bought by mistake, a full refund requires cancellation or downgrade within 24 hours of charging and no credits used that cycle. For an annual subscription bought by mistake, the corresponding window is 15 days with no credits consumed that billing period. After 15 days, annual refunds cover remaining full months and exclude the first month. A mistaken monthly purchase outside the full-refund window can be cancelled, with access continuing through the current cycle. Email billing@warp.dev with the circumstances; preserving unused credits matters for either full-refund window.
Warp's larger add-on credit purchases have published volume discounts through the credit-pack selection. Buying more credits upfront reduces the rate, and manual purchases and auto-reload use the same denominations and discounts. Packs can be purchased in Settings under Billing and usage, including on the Free plan without a subscription. Add-on credits begin funding usage after the included monthly allowance is exhausted. They roll over between billing cycles and keep their 12-month validity from purchase. A mistaken pack purchase can be refunded only if none of its credits have been used. A pack bought by mistake remains eligible for a refund while all of its purchased credits stay unused.
Warp accepts credit cards, debit cards, Link, Apple Pay and Google Pay for self-service subscriptions. Apple Pay checkout requires Safari on an Apple device. Google Pay requires Chrome, a signed-in Google Wallet account and the browser's Save and fill payment methods setting. Subscription prices exclude applicable taxes, fees and duties, so a discounted subscription still needs those amounts considered. Tax-exempt organizations select a plan without paying, then email their exemption proof and Warp account email to billing@warp.dev. Warp changes the account to tax exempt before the organization subscribes, and its bill then has no taxes applied. Completing that tax-status process before payment changes the final billed amount.
