Question 1

Can I swap games or locations on a discounted BisectHosting plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes, at no extra charge. BisectOne servers can be swapped to any of the 110+ covered games anytime, and the plan is described as one plan for all of them. Locations work the same way: host from any of the 21 worldwide locations with BisectOne and swap between locations free of charge. You can move the server yourself from the Location section on your server's home page in the Starbase panel, or submit a ticket and support moves it for you. Switching the modpack is just as quick: the one-click installer on the control panel switches between over 2,300 modpacks. Add-ons such as BisectBoost are a separate monthly charge, so only the add-on changes the price.

Question 2

Why isn't my BisectHosting promo code working at checkout?

Accepted Answer

The promo step has a fixed place in the order. The order guides run: select a billing cycle, enter a promo code, choose Apply, then select any desired add-ons. The step is worded "If present", so the promo field is not guaranteed on every order page, and add-ons are chosen after the code, not before. The discount labels belong to billing terms: 10% OFF for quarterly, 15% OFF for semi-annual and 20% OFF for annual, so the term you pick decides which label applies. Listed prices exclude sales tax, VAT, GST and similar fees, and taxes are added at checkout, so the final total differs from the plan page price.

Question 3

Can I get a refund on a BisectHosting server bought with a promo code?

Accepted Answer

Yes, within 3 days, for new customers. A first-time buyer, or a customer trying a new type of service, gets a 72-hour (3-day) money-back guarantee on most services. The Terms count the 3 days from activation, while the FAQ page counts them from the server purchase date. Outside the window there is no refund, partial or full, and prorated refunds for unused time are not offered. Gift cards and account credits are non-refundable too. Dedicated servers carry no refunds because of setup costs. Approved refunds go to the original payment method, but may be provided as account credit if needed.

Question 4

How do taxes and add-ons change the total of an order with a BisectHosting promo code?

Accepted Answer

They add to it. Listed prices exclude sales tax, VAT, GST and similar fees, and applicable taxes are calculated and added at checkout. Non-business customers with a tax location in the European Union pay VAT at the rate of their Member State, included in the final price shown at checkout. BisectBoost is an add-on to any BisectOne plan, priced per month plus applicable taxes, and it brings increased instance slot storage. The BisectOne price on the plan page reads STARTING AT per month plus applicable taxes. The Terms name BisectBoost among the add-on services that are non-refundable once the service has been performed, so settle the add-on choice before paying.

Question 5

Where do I enter a BisectHosting promo code in the order steps?

Accepted Answer

In the order steps, right after you pick a billing cycle. The order guide runs as follows: select a billing cycle, enter a promo code if the field is present, choose Apply, then select any desired add-ons. Another guide words the same step as entering any obtained promo codes and choosing Apply. The field is conditional, so the step reads "If present". Add-ons come after the code step, which means the cycle and the code are settled before the extras are priced. Taxes are calculated and added at checkout based on your billing address or location, because listed prices do not include sales tax, VAT, GST, or similar government-imposed fees unless stated otherwise.

Question 6

Can I cancel a BisectHosting server bought with a promo code?

Accepted Answer

Yes, at any time. Cancellation follows the instructions in the Help Center, and you can cancel immediately (within 24 hours) or at the end of your current billing cycle. Cancellations do not trigger automatic refunds, so a refund is a separate request to support, and you must be able to verify account ownership. A server that is not canceled renews at the end of its billing cycle. Starting a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting support is a violation of the Terms, so the refund request goes through support first. If BisectHosting itself ends a service without cause, meaning not due to your breach of the Terms, it provides a pro-rata refund of any unused portion of your prepaid fees.

Question 7

When does a server bought with a BisectHosting promo code go live?

Accepted Answer

As soon as the payment clears. Instant setup gives a Minecraft server full access the moment payment is processed, and hosting services are provisioned immediately after payment unless otherwise stated. Instant Setup is listed among the features included in BisectOne. The initial charge is due upon placing your order, so the discounted total is paid first and the server starts right after. Service begins right away, which may affect your cancellation rights under UK and EU law. Cancellation requests made within 14 days are honored in accordance with consumer protection laws, and you may be charged for the portion of service already provided.

Question 8

Which BisectHosting billing terms get a discount on Minecraft hosting?

Accepted Answer

Quarterly, semi-annual and annual terms. The Minecraft plan page labels quarterly billing 10% OFF, semi-annual billing 15% OFF and annual billing 20% OFF. Monthly is the default billing cycle, and longer terms such as quarterly, semi-annual and annual are offered when available. Prices on that page are listed per GB, with the monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual options shown together. All services are prepaid, so the fee is due at the start of each billing cycle and the initial charge is due upon placing your order. Applicable taxes are added on top of the plan price. The BisectOne plan behind these prices covers Minecraft plus 110+ other games.

Question 9

Which payment methods work with a BisectHosting promo code?

Accepted Answer

Major cards and several online wallets. All major credit and debit cards work, including pre-paid gift cards, plus PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Paysafecard. Recurring services bill automatically, but a method that does not support automatic billing, such as PaysafeCard, needs manual payments before each due date. PaysafeCard payments are not eligible for refunds, because of high processing fees and provider limits. A missed due date matters too. Suspension comes after 2 days (FAQ page) or after 3 days (Terms), and termination, with data deleted, follows at 7 days. Customers do not incur any late fees on due payments.

Question 10

What happens to a discounted BisectHosting plan at renewal?

Accepted Answer

It renews automatically. All recurring services renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled, and the selected payment method is charged on the due date. Invoices are generated at least 7 days before the due date. If BisectHosting raises the base price of your service, it gives at least 30 days' notice, and new rates apply at your next billing cycle. If you do not agree to the change, you can cancel before renewal. Renewal refunds are limited: a request within one day of the renewal date gets a full refund, within three days a 50% refund, and after three days nothing is refunded for that renewal payment.

Question 11

Is a BisectHosting coupon the same as a promo code?

Accepted Answer

Yes. BisectHosting uses one promo code field at checkout, so a coupon and a promo code work the same way: paste the code there before you pay.
