Eligible products and services

Service categories frequently on promotion

ColossusCloud VPS deals cover a range worth comparing by plan family: AMD powered, general purpose, high frequency, storage optimized and high memory optimized servers. Linux and Windows have separate price tables. The G5 and G3 families both offer entry-level sizes.

Services usually excluded from promo codes

Applicable taxes are additional to ColossusCloud's displayed prices. Extra features and overuse also carry separate charges.

Factors influencing the final discount value

Impact of billing cycle on promotional price

Hourly billing keeps the commitment short. ColossusCloud VPS plans have no long-term contracts, so an annual prepayment is not required to get started. Charges draw from prepaid account funds.

Promo codes vs. automatically applied offers

The extra CPU allocation is already included: ColossusCloud provides twice the CPU power across all plans at no extra cost. Promotional pricing follows the conditions attached to each offer.

ColossusCloud Discount FAQs

Only to the initial term, unless the offer expressly includes renewals. ColossusCloud renewals use the then-current rate for the service, regardless of the price paid previously. Each service automatically renews for its previous term length unless you change that term in the Client Portal before renewal. Promotional eligibility applies per customer, rather than per account; opening another account does not create fresh eligibility.
Services bought at reduced or promotional fees are non-refundable. Standard Cloud VPS purchases have a 14-day money-back window from the service's effective date. Renewal fees, setup fees and third-party add-ons are excluded. Refund requests go through a Client Portal support ticket with the reason, transaction details and acknowledgment of the refund conditions. Refunds default to account credit; return to the original payment source is discretionary and depends on the payment method.
No. The VPS charge is capped at its advertised monthly price, including in longer calendar months. ColossusCloud calculates the hourly rate using a 28-day month, equivalent to 672 hours. The extra days in a 29-, 30- or 31-day month carry no additional VPS charge. A 31-day month therefore includes three extra days at no cost, rather than extending the hourly charge beyond the monthly cap.
No. Billing continues while the VPS exists, even when it is stopped. Its RAM, CPU cores and disk space remain reserved; deleting the VPS ends those charges. ColossusCloud sends balance warnings by email before prepaid funds run out. With a credit card on file, a low balance triggers an automatic charge for approximately one month of estimated usage based on your current VPS configurations.
Yes. Bitcoin is the primary cryptocurrency accepted for ColossusCloud VPS payments. Open a support ticket or contact staff to request a payment wallet address, then transfer the agreed amount to that address. The account receives credit once the transaction confirms on the blockchain. Other major cryptocurrencies can be accommodated on request through the team. Confirmed cryptocurrency transactions are final and do not provide a chargeback mechanism.
No. ColossusCloud does not install customer-provided Windows licences on its VPS platform. Windows licensing uses Microsoft's Service Provider License Agreement, with the licence cost included in the VPS price according to CPU core count. The total appears when you configure the VPS in the control panel. An OEM licence is tied to specific hardware, while a retail licence covers your own hardware rather than a hosted VPS.
No. A cPanel commercial licence is billed monthly on top of the VPS plan. Solo costs $29.99 for one account; Admin costs $35.99 for up to five accounts. Pro costs $53.99 for up to 30 accounts, and Premier costs $69.99 for up to 100. Additional Premier accounts cost $0.49 each per month. Existing cPanel account migrations have a separate quote based on the websites and data involved.
Microsoft applications have their own monthly licence prices. Office Standard costs $15 a month, while Office Pro costs $19 and adds Access to the Standard application set. SQL Standard costs $249 a month for four CPU cores. Exchange costs $90 a month for ten users. A Remote Desktop Subscriber Access License costs $10 a month and permits one additional simultaneous user. ColossusCloud's team can arrange installation of these licensed products.
Compare the named plan size as well as the monthly price. Linux G5.2 costs $10 a month or $0.015 an hour, with 2 GB RAM, 100 GB disk space and two AMD Milan vCPUs. G5.4 costs $20 a month or $0.030 an hour, with 4 GB RAM, 150 GB disk space and four vCPUs. Their included bandwidth allowances are 3 TB and 4 TB respectively.
The high-frequency Windows G4.1 plan costs $17 a month or $0.025 an hour. It includes 1 GB RAM, 40 GB disk space, 4 TB bandwidth and two Xeon Gold vCPUs. G4.2 costs $30 a month or $0.045 an hour, with 2 GB RAM, 50 GB disk space and 5 TB bandwidth. Both use the high-frequency processor family running at 3.5 GHz, rather than the AMD Milan plan family.
