Eligible products and services

Service categories frequently on promotion

Annual Premier Membership. We see the biggest savings (60% equivalent) in the annual plan vs monthly. Our deals help you drop the effective monthly rate to under $10. Validate the usage. See the verified offers on this page.

Services usually excluded from promo codes

Tutor credits beyond the plan limit are extra. Rush answers cost more credits. Quality costs money. The massive document library is the value; use our code to get access cheaper.

Factors influencing the final discount value

Impact of billing cycle on promotional price

The $39.95 Trap. Paying monthly costs ~$40. Paying annually costs ~$120. If you study for more than 3 months a year, the Annual plan is mathematically superior, even before applying our coupon.

Promo codes vs. automatically applied offers

Free Unlocks. Be careful. You can earn free unlocks by uploading your own notes. Use a coupon for the *unlimited* tutor help, but earn your document unlocks for free if cash is tight.

Accessing active codes for Course Hero

Yes. They typically offer Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual plans. The Annual plan offers the lowest effective monthly rate, paid as a lump sum upfront. All paid plans usually provide the same level of access to documents and tutor questions, just with different billing frequencies.
If Course Hero charged you for a renewal and you have not used any Unlocks or Questions, its support page says you can request a full refund by contacting support. The request is processed within one business day; subscriptions bought through Apple or Google Play require billing help from those providers.
No. Course Hero says paid membership Unlocks refresh monthly from your subscription date, and unused ones do not carry over. Unlocks earned by uploading documents expire 30 days after they are received.
Course Hero lets eligible Premier members pause unused subscription time for one, two, or three months, once every 30 days. Subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google Play cannot be paused or downgraded; manage those subscriptions through the relevant app store.
