Additional usage after an applicable commitment is consumed becomes Burst Usage, invoiced monthly in arrears. An unpaid commitment balance can require a True-up Payment when the order term ends. PAYG pricing can change under the services agreement.
Promo codes vs. automatically applied offers
Databricks uses product-specific promotional pricing, trial credits and negotiated commitments with separate conditions. A promotional SKU carries a temporary discounted rate in the Price List. Databricks refunds unused prepaid fees if an order terminates because of Databricks' material breach. For a platform warranty failure, the contractual remedy first provides for material correction of the nonconforming services. If Databricks cannot substantially remedy those services within a commercially reasonable period, it terminates the affected services and refunds the unused prepaid portion for the period after termination. Fees remain those specified in your applicable order. PAYG cancellation charges all usage through the termination date in full, so cancellation does not reverse consumed usage.
