Flywheel Coupon FAQ
You can enter credit card details when accepting the site's billing transfer. The current owner starts the transfer, and Flywheel emails you an invitation to take over payment. Open the invitation's Accept & Set Up Billing button, then sign in to your Flywheel account or create one. Flywheel makes you the site's owner after billing is set up and payment is completed. Applicable US sales tax depends on the billing address attached to the subscription, so that address affects the amount billed alongside your hosting purchase. If your designer is delivering a demo site, they can send the subscription invitation using Set Up Billing.
Flywheel gives you two months of hosting free when you pay annually. This saving comes from the billing term rather than a shorter monthly subscription. The annual Starter listing shows $25 per month, with $300 billed for the year, so the monthly figure represents the annual cost spread across twelve months. That plan covers one WordPress site, with 25,000 monthly visits and 10GB of storage. The annual Freelance and Agency listings also include two months free. Flywheel displays its prices in US dollars and says server location can affect pricing. For the annual Starter purchase, the amount beside Billed at is $300/year.
Flywheel prices optional add-ons separately from its listed hosting plans. Performance Insights includes monthly reports covering site performance and recommendations, while Managed Plugin Updates adds plugin update management. The Performance Insights listing charges $25 per month to enable the add-on with the first site, then $2 per month for each extra site. Managed Plugin Updates is listed at $8 per month for each site. These are separate services to account for alongside the hosting offer you select. Applicable US sales tax can also cover add-ons, depending on your billing address and jurisdiction. For Managed Plugin Updates across more than 30 sites, Flywheel directs buyers to contact its team for bulk pricing.
Flywheel's two-month hosting discount requires annual payment. Monthly billing and annual billing are different purchase terms, and the two free months belong to the yearly option. The pricing cards identify the annual charge with Billed at and show the corresponding monthly equivalent above it. This means an annual monthly equivalent describes a yearly payment, rather than twelve separate monthly payments. The same term-based saving extends to additional sites: Flywheel lists an extra site at $20 per month or $200 per year. That yearly extra-site price includes two free months. For an additional site billed annually, the stated charge is $200 for the year.
Flywheel offers a free standard migration option for moving your site. Its migration form also offers an expedited service, which costs $49 and has an eight-business-hour timeline. In the form, select Move my site for me, then choose the migration timeline and destination. Flywheel can move the site into an existing subscription or a new demo site, depending on the destination you select. You provide the current site information and WordPress administrator credentials so the migration team can perform the move. The team emails you afterward to review the migrated site before launch. The free standard option has a stated timeline of three business days, measured around US Central Time business hours.
Flywheel's 60-day money-back guarantee covers specified new hosting plans. New Tiny and Startup plans qualify, along with new Freelance plans that exclude custom onboarding. Agency and Custom plans fall outside the guarantee, and upgrades and renewals are excluded too. For a qualifying purchase, cancel through the dashboard and email Flywheel to request the full refund within 60 days of purchase. The subscription's cancellation process starts in Billing, where you open Details and select Cancel subscription from the gear menu. Flywheel's Billing Team then emails to confirm the cancellation request. For a new Freelance purchase, custom onboarding is the specific condition that determines eligibility for this guarantee.
Flywheel includes two free months in its displayed annual hosting prices. The annual plan cards pair a monthly equivalent with the amount billed for the full year. In the pricing comparison, Choose Plan opens the purchase route for the selected hosting tier. The annual saving is therefore represented by the yearly price displayed for that plan. Additional sites have their own yearly option, listed at $200 per year instead of $20 per month. Optional services, including Performance Insights and Managed Plugin Updates, have separate listed charges to include in your budget. For an annual hosting purchase, the Billed at amount identifies the full year's hosting charge.
Flywheel excludes all Agency plans from its 60-day money-back guarantee. Custom plans are excluded as well, so the guarantee's coverage depends on the hosting tier you purchase. If you need to cancel an Agency subscription, the dashboard provides a cancellation request process. Open Billing, select Details for that subscription, then use the gear menu to select Cancel subscription. After you submit feedback and request cancellation, Flywheel's Billing Team contacts you by email to confirm. On the confirmed cancellation date, access ends for the subscription's sites and retained backups; any legacy pricing attached to it is also lost. The final submission button is labeled Request Cancellation.
Cancel your qualifying subscription and email Flywheel within 60 days of purchasing the new hosting plan. The guarantee covers new Tiny and Startup plans and new Freelance plans without custom onboarding. It excludes Agency and Custom plans, upgrades and renewals. To begin cancellation, open Billing from your account menu, then select Details for the subscription. In its overview, open the gear menu and select Cancel subscription, then submit the cancellation request. Flywheel's Billing Team follows up by email to confirm; the guarantee also requires an emailed refund request. For a subscription owned by an individual account, only that owner can cancel it; a collaborator cannot submit the cancellation.
Flywheel's 60-day money-back guarantee excludes renewals. Its refund coverage applies to eligible new hosting purchases, and upgrading an existing subscription is also outside that guarantee. If you want to end the subscription, cancellation is managed through the Flywheel account that owns it. From Billing, open the subscription's Details, then select Cancel subscription under the gear icon. Submit the request to receive an email confirmation from the Billing Team. The cancellation date matters because access to the subscription's sites and retained backups ends on that date. For an organization-owned subscription, any organization member can cancel, and the account context switcher lets you select that organization before opening Billing.
Yes. A Flywheel coupon and a promo code are the same thing: paste the code in the promo field at checkout before you pay.
