Portable power stations, solar generators, power banks and lights.
Savings opportunities available through Goal Zero coupon codes
Goal Zero sells portable power stations, solar generators, power banks, home backup equipment and lights. Its welcome discount takes 10% off eligible purchases for new US customers subscribing to both email and SMS communications. Open-box equipment provides another route to a lower merchandise total: Yeti 700 (OPEN BOX) has a checkout subtotal of $454.97 before shipping and taxes. Those items already have reduced prices and cannot take additional promotions. Goal Zero Rewards also earns 1 point for every $1 spent, with points redeemable for discounts on future eligible orders.
Eligible products and services
Service categories frequently on promotion
Goal Zero promotions depend on the product and the type of discount. The welcome offer excludes Yeti Power Stations, Sherpa Power Banks, open-box equipment and sale items. Rewards vouchers have their own limits, including Open Box products, Protection Plans and products already discounted. Approved Pro Deal members receive special pricing on full-priced products for personal use or gifts. Purchases must take place within the specified promotional period to qualify for a promotion. Merchandise prices can change without notice, and all products offered for purchase remain subject to availability.
Services usually excluded from promo codes
Goal Zero product discount promotions reduce merchandise charges, rather than shipping, handling or applicable taxes. The welcome discount specifically leaves out Yeti Power Stations, Sherpa Power Banks, Open box items and sale merchandise. Rewards discounts exclude Protection Plans as well as Open Box products and already reduced items. Lighthouse Micro Flash USB Rechargeable Lantern also carries a product-specific restriction against discounts. International orders are outside the product discount promotion terms. Free shipping promotions cover ground delivery only and exclude Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and international orders; expedited delivery remains separately charged.
Factors influencing the final discount value
Impact of billing cycle on promotional price
Goal Zero offers payment installments through Shop Pay at checkout. Customers can split a purchase into interest-free bi-weekly payments or monthly installments powered by Affirm. These financing options are available to US customers and require an eligibility check. Shop Pay Installments rates range from 0%-36% APR, with options depending on the purchase amount and a possible down payment. Prepaid cards are unsupported, and gift cards and subscription products do not qualify for installments. The payment schedule and financing rate therefore affect the amount paid over time alongside the merchandise discount.
Promo codes vs. automatically applied offers
Goal Zero open-box prices already include their reduction, while rewards discounts require a voucher entered at checkout. Additional promotions cannot be added to an open-box purchase. A rewards member selects an available Voucher, chooses Get Reward, then Redeem to obtain the discount. Only one rewards discount can be redeemed per order. Product discount promotions cannot be combined with other offers or discounts, and the welcome offer also prohibits combining. Reward discounts apply to the purchase following the one that earned the points; they cannot adjust a previously completed purchase.
Accessing active codes for Goal Zero
Goal Zero places its Discount code field in the checkout Order summary, with Apply beside the box. Start with the product selection and Add to cart, then continue to Checkout. For a rewards voucher, the account steps are Voucher, Get Reward and Redeem before entering it in the discount box. The cost summary separates Subtotal, Shipping, Taxes and Total. Shipping methods appear after a delivery address is entered. A welcome discount requires a new US customer subscribed to email and SMS; rewards vouchers exclude Open Box products, Protection Plans and already discounted merchandise. Goal Zero accepts Education and Non-Profit applicant types for Pro Deal accounts, with special pricing reserved for approved program members. The application requests contact and company information plus official work identification uploaded as a PDF or JPG, such as a business card. Applicants outside the United States are ineligible. Pro Deal pricing applies to full-priced items purchased for personal use or as gifts, and products must not be resold. Ground shipping is charged to the user unless another arrangement is requested. Approved purchases can be paid by credit card, debit card or PayPal. Pro Deal orders cannot be returned or exchanged, making the selected items and quantities consequential before submission.
The Goal Zero welcome discount is for new customers, while eligible existing customers can use the rewards program for future purchase discounts. Welcome eligibility requires US residency and subscription to both email and SMS communications. Goal Zero Rewards is a free loyalty program for United States customers who can purchase through the store and create an account. Qualifying purchases require enrollment and being signed into that account at the time of purchase. Points earned from an order pass through an approval period before they can redeem rewards. Discount rewards are redeemable on the following online purchase, and they cannot be applied retrospectively to a completed order.
Goal Zero points expire without a qualifying purchase for twelve months, and converted discount vouchers expire after twelve months if unused. For points, a qualifying purchase is fully paid, has not been returned and qualifies to earn points. Each qualifying purchase extends the expiration of unused points for another twelve months from the month of that purchase. Order points have a five-day approval period during which they cannot redeem rewards. Once enough usable points are available, the account lets you select a Voucher, then Get Reward and Redeem. Rewards cannot be changed after redemption. A returned or canceled purchase can also reduce or reverse its associated points balance.
Goal Zero offers a 30-day money back guarantee for direct purchases, with Open Box and Pro Deal purchases governed by separate final-sale rules. A return for refund starts by contacting support, and the products must be returned at your own expense. For Yeti Lithium Power Stations, the specified return costs are deducted from the original amount paid. Other returns require proof of purchase and a Return Material Authorization number supplied by support. The package must show that number and include proof of the purchase date. Those other refunds are processed in five to seven business days after the product is received. Direct-store purchase eligibility determines which return process applies.
Goal Zero rewards members earn 5,000 Charge Points after a referral purchase, which can contribute to a future eligible voucher discount. Referral points are earned fifteen days after the referred customer makes a purchase. The free rewards program is available to United States customers who can buy through the store and create an account. A member views the point balance by signing into the rewards account, then selects an available Voucher with enough points. Get Reward and Redeem provide the voucher for entry in the checkout discount box. Reward discounts exclude already discounted merchandise, Open Box products and Protection Plans. Returned or canceled purchases can reduce associated points.
Goal Zero product discount promotions apply to merchandise only, so shipping, handling and applicable taxes remain outside that reduction. The checkout Order summary separates the merchandise subtotal from shipping, taxes and the total. Product discount promotions do not apply to international orders. A free shipping promotion follows its own terms: it covers ground shipping and does not make expedited shipping free. That shipping benefit excludes Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and international orders. Free shipping offers also cannot be combined with other promotions or applied as an adjustment to previous purchases. An eligible ground-shipping promotion therefore changes delivery charges under its own conditions, separately from the merchandise discount rules.
A Goal Zero welcome promo requires a new US customer subscribed to email and SMS, with eligible merchandise in the order. That promotion excludes Yeti Power Stations, Sherpa Power Banks, open-box products and items already on sale. Rewards vouchers follow separate restrictions: Open Box products, Protection Plans and already discounted merchandise cannot receive those discounts. Only a single rewards voucher can be used per purchase, and an unused converted voucher expires after twelve months. Purchases must also fall within the specified promotional period to qualify. The Lighthouse Micro Flash USB Rechargeable Lantern has a specific restriction against discounts, even when other merchandise in the order qualifies.
Goal Zero accepts promo codes at checkout after you add an eligible item to your cart. Rewards vouchers exclude Open Box products and Protection Plans, and only one rewards voucher can be used per purchase. In the Order summary, the Discount code box and Apply button handle the code entry. To obtain a rewards voucher first, sign into your Goal Zero Rewards account and select a Voucher available for your points balance. Select Get Reward, then Redeem to reveal the voucher for checkout. The order summary lists Subtotal, Shipping, Taxes and Total separately; product promotions reduce merchandise charges rather than shipping or taxes. Shipping methods become available after you enter your delivery address.
Goal Zero Open Box products cannot receive an additional coupon discount, and those purchases are final without returns or exchanges. The reduced merchandise price already reflects their condition. Open Box and refurbished items may have minor cosmetic imperfections or lack retail packaging. They include the original in-the-box items, including charging cables and user guides. These products carry a six-month warranty, which is separate from the money back guarantee available on eligible direct purchases. The thirty-day money back guarantee expressly excludes Open Box products. Rewards vouchers cannot be applied to these items either, so a reduced Open Box purchase follows its own discount and return conditions.
Goal Zero allows only one rewards discount per order, and reward discounts cannot combine with other promotions unless Goal Zero expressly agrees. The product promotion terms also prohibit combining offers or discounts. The welcome discount has its own restriction against combining and does not apply to sale items. Open-box merchandise already carries a reduced price, with additional promotions excluded. Reward vouchers likewise leave out Protection Plans and products already on sale or otherwise discounted. A rewards member chooses a Voucher and redeems it before applying it at checkout. That selection matters because redeemed rewards cannot be changed, while discount rewards cannot make adjustments to previous purchases.
