HostUp accepts card and several other payment methods for hosting purchases. Every purchase and renewal is invoiced, and the invoice must be paid by its due date. Through Stripe, payment options include cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Klarna. Bankgiro and Swish are additional options for invoices in SEK, while SEPA transfers are available for invoices in EUR. HostUp accepts payment in SEK, EUR or USD and displays the payable amount before you order. Paying by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay also authorizes future service charges to the same payment method until cancellation. For a discounted order you intend to pay with Swish, the relevant condition is that the invoice must be in SEK.
New HostUp hosting and VPS orders have a return window determined by your location. Consumers and business customers in the EU/EEA have 14 days from activation; customers residing or established outside the EU/EEA have two days. A request goes through the customer area or support. The return covers the fee for the newly ordered service and excludes renewals, domains and cPanel licences. Once approved, the service ends and the covered fee is refunded. The return provision excludes intentional abuse and leaves statutory rights unaffected. This makes the activation time relevant when you buy hosting using an offer on this page. For an eligible new hosting order, submit the return request within 14 days of activation, or two days outside the EU/EEA.
You can upgrade a HostUp hosting plan through the customer area. HostUp charges the upgrade proportionally for the rest of the period you have already paid for. The first order screen asks which domain you want to connect and provides Registrera ny domän, Flytta domän hit and Jag har redan en options. These let you register a domain, transfer one or use a domain you already have. The same screen identifies the selected hosting package and displays its annual charge. You can cancel HostUp hosting at the end of the paid period. Hosting continues to renew automatically until you submit a cancellation, so the cancellation request determines when that subscription ends. In the customer area, you can choose immediate termination or termination at the end of the period already paid for. Support can also handle a cancellation request. Amounts already due remain payable, and cancelling by yourself does not refund the paid period except under the applicable return or statutory withdrawal provisions. An annual hosting payment therefore remains a payment for the purchased year when you choose ordinary cancellation.
