Event ticketing and registration with per-ticket billing.

Savings opportunities available through SimpleTix coupon codes

SimpleTix sells event ticketing with per-ticket fees, giving organizers several concrete ways to reduce their bill. Online Sales have a standard service fee of 79 cents + 2% per ticket. Tickets priced $5 or below qualify for a flat 25-cent fee. Eligible nonprofit organizations can request a reduced service fee of 71 cents + 2% with proof of status. Free general admission and Flex Pass tickets have no platform fee. Organizers can also pass service and estimated processing fees to ticket buyers instead of deducting them from ticket revenue.

Eligible products and services

Service categories frequently on promotion

SimpleTix discounts depend on the ticket category and the promotion being used. The nonprofit reduction changes the organizer’s platform fee, while event promo codes reduce eligible ticket purchases. Online Sales include the full platform and have a service-fee cap of $9.99 per ticket. In-Person / Box Office sales carry a flat 25-cent ticket fee. Season Tickets use the pass value and individual tickets to calculate charges. Event promotions can target specific events, ticket types or event times, with a percentage reduction or a flat amount chosen by the organizer.

Services usually excluded from promo codes

The SimpleTix nonprofit discount covers the platform fee and leaves credit card processing fees separate. Those processing charges depend on the selected payment processor, location and currency. Free Reserved Seating tickets still carry a 25-cent service fee, unlike free GA and Flex Pass tickets. Season Tickets are charged at 2% of the Season Ticket value plus 79 cents per individual ticket in the Season Pass. Event promo eligibility follows the selected event and ticket settings. Service charges and card processing fees remain subject to the refund exceptions in the refund policy.

Factors influencing the final discount value

Impact of billing cycle on promotional price

SimpleTix uses ticket-based billing without setup, monthly or ongoing subscription charges. A longer subscription commitment therefore does not determine the published ticket rate. The nonprofit reduction is applied to service fees through support. With US Square and Stripe accounts, the platform fee is charged when a purchase occurs. For non-US Square and Authorize.net accounts, accumulated service fees are billed to the saved credit card at month end. Cash and Square Gift Card purchases also use month-end settlement. Your Plan holds the current fee structure and historical invoices for the organization.

Promo codes vs. automatically applied offers

SimpleTix event promotions can apply through a code or through automatic checkout rules. An organizer’s Discount Link pre-fills the event promo code at checkout. Volume Based Pricing and Buy One Get One discounts activate automatically when the configured conditions are met. A quantity offer can require matching ticket types, and password-protected discounts require the buyer’s password. Special Offers use a trigger ticket to display additional tickets from another event after Checkout. Only one special offer can be attached to each trigger ticket; that restriction concerns Special Offers rather than a general code-stacking policy.

Accessing active codes for SimpleTix

SimpleTix nonprofit savings are requested through support after creating an event page. The request includes the event name and the registered email address, with proof of eligible nonprofit status. For event-ticket promotions, the organizer opens the event’s Promo Codes area, selects the promotion and copies its Discount Link. That link pre-fills the promotion during checkout. Each promotion follows its selected tickets, redemption allowance and active period. The order details record an applied promo code. Separate automatic quantity discounts appear when the cart satisfies the organizer’s qualifying ticket rules. Scroll up for the current SimpleTix offers.

SimpleTix Discount FAQs

The organizer’s unique discount URL loads a SimpleTix event promotion into checkout. The organizer obtains it from the event-specific Promo Codes page by selecting the promotion and copying Discount Link. Each promotion can be tied to a specific event or ticket type, so the link operates within the eligibility configured for that promotion. Percentage and flat-amount reductions are both supported. Redemption limits and the active period are separate settings that continue to govern use of the linked promotion. Once an order is placed, its details list the applied promo code. The promotion’s details also associate redeemed orders with that code, allowing the organizer to see which ticket purchases used the discount.

SimpleTix event promo eligibility depends on the selected tickets, active period and redemption limits. The organizer can specify which tickets or event times qualify while setting up the promotion. A code attached to a particular event does not target an entire event category automatically. Usage settings can restrict redemptions by orders or tickets, and a Tickets per Order limit can restrict how many items receive the reduction. The organizer’s promo details show redemption counts and remaining uses alongside associated orders. An automatic discount link still uses the configured promotion rather than changing its eligibility. Selecting a ticket type and event time covered by that promotion is the purchase change that makes those eligibility settings relevant.

Eligible nonprofit organizations claim the SimpleTix discount by contacting support with proof of nonprofit status. The reduced service rate is 71 cents + 2%, and eligibility requires proof of 501(c)(3) status. After creating an event page, the request includes the event name and the email address registered with the organization’s SimpleTix account. This reduction applies to the platform service fee, while the payment processor’s charge stays governed by the processor. Support adds the nonprofit discount to the account. Current fee details are available through Settings and Your Plan, alongside historical invoices. Providing the event name, registered email and status documentation gives support the account details required to apply the reduction.

The SimpleTix nonprofit discount excludes credit card processing fees. Its published reduction is 10% off the platform fee, and the processor portion remains separate. Payment processing charges depend on the selected processor and its rates for the organizer’s location and currency. Organizers can absorb platform and processing charges or pass them to attendees as part of the purchase. A custom ticket fee is another fee-handling option; that amount goes to the organizer while backend platform and processor charges still apply. The billing download separates the ticket subtotal, service-fee total and tax total. Those separate totals identify which charges belong to the service-fee reduction rather than treating the entire payment as discounted.

SimpleTix’s nonprofit discount applies to ticket service fees within its ticket-based billing model. Signing up and posting an event carry no setup, monthly or ongoing subscription charges. Support applies the eligible nonprofit reduction after receiving proof of status. Fee collection then follows the payment arrangement: US Square and Stripe transactions collect the service fee at purchase. Non-US Square and Authorize.net accounts instead settle accumulated fees against the saved credit card at month end. Cash and Square Gift Card transactions also generate later fee charges. Settings opens Your Plan, where the current fee structure and historical invoices are available. These invoices distinguish transaction-time charges from the balance billed to the card.

Refunds on discounted SimpleTix tickets follow the event seller’s refund and cancellation policy. Ticket purchasers contact that seller directly, with requests made within 72 hours of the event end date under the platform terms. The organizer’s refund wizard displays Price Paid for each selected ticket or item and permits a partial Refund Amount. A refund cannot exceed the amount actually paid for that selected item. Service and processing charges are subject to the stated refund exceptions, including provisions for cancelled events. Removing a refunded ticket from the order is a separate choice from returning money. The Delete item from order setting determines whether the ticket remains available to the buyer after the refund.

SimpleTix Volume Based Pricing discounts apply automatically when the cart meets the configured quantity conditions. The organizer selects the quantity that triggers the reduction and chooses a flat amount or percentage discount. The rule can count the total tickets in the cart or require all qualifying tickets to have the same type. Password protection is an additional option, with the password entered during checkout to unlock that promotion. When buyer messages are enabled, the ticket-selection screen explains how to qualify. The displayed discount follows the organizer’s configuration rather than requiring a typed promo code. A cart meeting the ticket threshold and matching the selected ticket-type rule activates the automatic reduction.

A SimpleTix Buy One Get One discount requires the purchase quantity configured by the event organizer. The promotion can award free tickets or apply a percentage reduction to the additional tickets. Its settings define how many tickets must be purchased, how many incentive tickets qualify and the reduction attached to those tickets. The organizer can also limit how many times the promotion is used within an order. These discounts activate automatically at checkout when their conditions are met. Buyer messages can show the qualifying requirements during ticket selection. Multi-event pooling is reserved for Volume Based Pricing, so the pooled-events mechanism does not extend a Buy One Get One rule across different events.

SimpleTix pooled quantity discounts can count eligible tickets from several selected events in one checkout. The organizer creates the promotion using Volume Based Pricing and selects the events included in the pool. Tickets from those events contribute together toward the configured qualifying quantity. Criteria can still require the Same Event, Same Event Time, Same Ticket Type or Same Seat, which affects whether a mixed cart qualifies. When the cart meets the pooled rule, the reduction is automatic. An enabled buyer message explains the qualification during checkout. Every event in the pool shares the promotion, and edits to that pooled discount apply across the included events rather than creating independent reductions.

SimpleTix membership discounts require the correct membership email and an active membership. The event organizer configures the reduction for selected ticket types or seating sections rather than every ticket automatically. General Admission settings support a flat or percentage reduction, service-fee rules and limits on discounted tickets per member. A membership-only ticket type can also be hidden from nonmembers. Reserved Seating and Flex Pass member pricing require the member to be logged in. Some reserved-seat configurations show a base price before the discount appears at checkout. The promotion therefore follows both membership eligibility and the chosen ticket or seat settings, with checkout providing the discounted amount for those reserved-seat configurations.
