Cloud VPS hosting, dedicated servers and storage, with AFRICLOUD offers for lower server bills.

Savings opportunities available through AFRICLOUD coupon codes

AFRICLOUD sells cloud servers, and the offers on this page help you pay less for VPS hosting. The 1 GB cloud plan costs $10 a month with the advertised promotion, against $20 at the regular monthly price. There is no setup fee.

Eligible products and services

Service categories frequently on promotion

Cloud Server savings. The advertised promotion covers eight cloud plans. The 4 GB plan drops from $100 to $50 a month, while the 6 GB plan drops from $140 to $70 a month.

Services usually excluded from promo codes

Server savings cover the infrastructure purchase. AFRICLOUD uses Bring Your Own Licence: software you install requires your own valid licences. Those licence purchases remain your responsibility alongside the server order.

Factors influencing the final discount value

Impact of billing cycle on promotional price

Monthly beats hourly for continuous use. Hourly pricing is the monthly plan price divided by 608, so monthly billing costs less once a server runs for roughly 25 days. Invoiced terms also include quarterly, semi-annual, annual, biennial and triennial billing.

Promo codes vs. automatically applied offers

The advertised Cloud Server discount uses a promo code. AFRICLOUD's order summary separates the subtotal, promo deduction and total today. The discounted plan display is tied to that promotion.

AFRICLOUD Discount FAQs

Yes. The advertised 50% Cloud Server promotion applies to every payment, including renewals. The 2 GB plan is $20 a month instead of $40, and the 3 GB plan is $30 instead of $60 under that promotion. The 8 GB plan falls from $180 to $90 a month. These are recurring promotional prices for the named cloud plans, rather than a discount limited to the first month's payment.
At least 72 hours of your chosen plan's rate. AFRICLOUD requires that balance before creating an hourly server, and both wallet funds and promotional credit count towards the requirement. The first hour is charged when the server is created. Your order and receipt show that first-hour charge, while subsequent hours appear in wallet transactions. Hourly servers are suspended when the balance runs out; a top-up through Billing, then Top Up, restores them.
A fully funded account-balance order settles directly, leaving no invoice for the promo code to discount. AFRICLOUD requires another payment method to use the code in that situation. Card, PayPal, cryptocurrency and Mobile Money are available checkout routes. PayPal sends you to its payment page and then returns you to AFRICLOUD. Cryptocurrency payments use a separate crypto-payment page, while Mobile Money payments require authorisation from your mobile wallet.
Yes, within 15 active service days if the server fails to meet its advertised technical specifications. This is a conditional refund, requiring conclusive technical evidence such as logs or performance metrics. Requests go through AFRICLOUD's support page. Confirmed service abuse prevents a refund, and non-refundable services or add-ons, including domain registrations and third-party licences, are excluded. Approved refunds are processed within 15 days of approval; additional cooling-off rights apply where required by law.
AFRICLOUD accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal, alongside cryptocurrency and local payment options. Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link are supported through Stripe. Local methods include Pix in Brazil, iDEAL in the Netherlands, Bancontact in Belgium, BLIK in Poland and SEPA Direct Debit in the EU. Your billing currency is assigned at registration by country: USD for most countries, EUR for EU countries, GBP for the UK, ZAR for South Africa and NGN for Nigeria.
Taxes are separate from the displayed price. VAT can apply according to your location and whether you provide a valid VAT number; EU business customers with a valid VAT number can apply for reverse charge. Every Cloud Server includes IPv4 and IPv6 without an additional charge for those included addresses. Extra IPv4 addresses are a separate purchase for justified uses, such as distinct services or SSL certificates for multiple domains, with pricing and availability arranged through support.
The backups add-on costs 20% of your plan's monthly price. It uses a plan-based charge rather than per-GB metering, and includes automated daily backups with the three most recent daily restore points. Backups are kept on a dedicated platform separate from the server host. Attached block volumes are protected with the server's backups and snapshots. Restore is self-service from the dashboard, and on-demand snapshots allow up to five captures per server with one-click rollback.
No. An hourly server continues billing while powered off because its storage, IP address and hypervisor allocation remain reserved. Destroying the server from its dashboard page stops the server charge and permanently erases its disk. Separate resources continue billing until deleted: additional IPv4 addresses are charged per address, block volumes per GB whether attached or not, reserved floating IPs per address, and object storage per GB stored. A snapshot or backup preserves data needed after server destruction.
AFRICLOUD's made-to-order dedicated servers are ready 14 business days after payment. An enquiry receives a response within one business day, and the build is specified around your processor, memory, storage, uplink, region and quantity requirements. Starter builds have 64 GB ECC memory and two 960 GB NVMe drives; Performance builds have 128 GB ECC memory and two 1.92 TB NVMe drives. Payment accepts cards, PayPal or more than 300 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDT.
Yes. Existing customers can upgrade their Cloud Server from the dashboard, with the prorated price difference calculated automatically. Upgrades are processed instantly and retain the server's data. A downgrade requires a support ticket because moving to a smaller storage allocation can involve migration. Moving to a different data centre is a separate process: a new server is provisioned in the destination region and your data is migrated, with support available to coordinate the transition.
