Three-year prepayment gives BASIC its lowest advertised monthly rate: €4.10 before VAT. The full three-year payment is €147.60, rather than a monthly charge at that amount. BASIC costs €9.23 when paid month by month; its one-year total is €73.80 and its two-year total is €110.70. The plan supports 15 separate websites, but registering or renewing their domains is billed separately.
The three-year hosting payments are €400 for PLUS, €600 for ADVANCED and €800 for PRO, excluding VAT. Their advertised monthly equivalents are €11.11, €16.16 and €22.22 respectively. Shorter commitments have different prices: PLUS costs €200 for one year or €300 for two; ADVANCED costs €300 or €450; PRO costs €400 or €600. Monthly billing is €25 for PLUS, €35 for ADVANCED and €45 for PRO. Each business plan includes a free SSL certificate and daily backups.
An unrecognised code and an ineligible order produce different messages. Area IT's order form can report that the entered promo code does not exist. It can also accept a promotion into the cart while reporting that none of the items qualify for its discount. That second message directs you to the promotion's conditions. The form also provides a Remove Promotion Code control; removing a promotion updates the order total. An accepted entry alone is therefore not confirmation of a discounted item.
Only accounts created for the first time qualify for the full hosting refund, within 30 days of the service starting. Area IT reserves the right to change its published prices, so the invoice for the selected tariff and payment arrangement determines the amount payable.
Yes. The hosting renewal module lets an existing customer extend the current payment period or select a different one. In the Area IT client portal, open the services section and select the hosting service whose billing period you want to change. Scroll to the hosting renewal module to make the term selection. This is a renewal action on the selected service, rather than a new hosting application; the module offers both keeping the existing period and switching to another.
Area IT invoices the price difference, then changes the hosting plan after payment. In the client portal's services section, select the hosting account and open Actions, then Change Hosting Plan. The next step lets you select both the desired hosting plan and the desired payment period. After the request, the difference invoice is sent to your email address. Paying that invoice triggers the plan change immediately.
Request cancellation through the client portal; closing the hosting account also cancels an already prepared renewal invoice. Open My Services, view the relevant hosting plan, then select Actions and Request Cancellation. Enter a brief reason and choose immediate closure or closure at the end of the paid period. Immediate closure happens within 24 hours. Submit the cancellation request to receive confirmation. At the selected closure time, the hosting account is permanently deleted, including the account's hosted data.
The annual registration and renewal prices match for .lv, .com and .eu: €14.52, €15 and €10 respectively. Transfer prices differ: .lv transfer is €0, while .com transfer is €15 and .eu transfer is €10. The .lv and .com entries each have a 30-day grace period with a €0 grace-period charge. The .com entry additionally has a 30-day redemption period priced at €65.50; the .eu entry has no grace period. Domain costs depend on the selected extension and transaction.
Yes. Domain auto-renewal has its own control in the client portal, separate from the hosting cancellation request. Open My Domains, select Edit Domain for the name concerned, then open Automatic Renewal and disable it. Disabling renewal also cancels an already prepared invoice for that domain's renewal. A success message confirms the change. Until the paid domain term ends, you can reactivate automatic renewal using the domain's settings.
