BSI provides standards, training and subscriptions for organizations.

Savings opportunities available through BSI coupon codes

BSI offers standards, training and standards subscriptions, with savings tied to your purchase and organization. Membership reduces British Standards by 50% and gives members lower subscription rates. Charities can request special rates on selected accessibility standards through customer services. Qualifying regulators receive 35% off selected soil sampling standards, with Customer Relations placing the order. Buying more than 100 copies of a standard qualifies for a bulk purchase discount. These routes cover different purchasing needs: individual documents, ongoing library access, specific charitable work and larger orders of the same standard.

Eligible products and services

Service categories frequently on promotion

BSI membership savings cover British Standards, including international standards adopted by BSI. The member reduction is 10% for ISO and other international standards that BSI has not adopted. BSI Knowledge subscriptions and Compliance Navigator core subscriptions also carry member discounts. For document purchases, the chosen version, format and quantity determine the basket contents. Digital purchases default to a single-user licence, while multiple users need suitable licensing. Subscription quotes reflect the users, modules or collections and access required. Membership links the buyer's account to the organization entitled to the lower rate.

Services usually excluded from promo codes

BSI treats membership, document purchases and content licences as separate purchases. An annual Membership fee gives access to benefits; standards themselves are bought separately or accessed through a BSI Knowledge subscription. The basket separates product totals from shipping and tax, which are calculated at checkout. Digital documents also have their own licence quantities, so access for additional people requires the appropriate licences or subscription. A licence for incorporating standards content into other materials is separately tailored, with its charge depending on the audience size and the amount of content used.

Factors influencing the final discount value

Impact of billing cycle on promotional price

BSI Membership runs as an annual paid subscription, with the fee based on country, sector and organization size. BSI Knowledge library access is also offered for an annual fee, quoted for the organization's requirements. The subscription agreement sets the initial period in the Order Form and automatically renews for the same period, subject to a minimum of 12 months. BSI can increase subscription fees at renewal with advance notice. Membership renewal notices go to the Membership Administrator 60 days before renewal, followed by an invoice sent electronically or to that administrator.

Promo codes vs. automatically applied offers

BSI member pricing follows an active membership linked to the purchasing account. Customer services connects the BSI Knowledge profile to the organization's membership, then notifies the buyer when the link is ready. Logged-in purchases can then use the member rate. A Knowledge subscription discount is confirmed in a quote before the fee is paid and access is activated. Charity rates require contact with customer services, while eligible regulatory orders are handled by Customer Relations. The offers on this page therefore need the purchasing route that matches the relevant membership or special-rate eligibility.

Accessing active codes for BSI

BSI's purchase steps begin with selecting a standard, its version and the required format and quantity. Choose Add to Basket, then Proceed to Basket to open the order summary. Your Basket includes Products, Non-Member Total and Member Total in the Subtotal panel. Shipping and tax are calculated during checkout. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice comes before Proceed to Checkout. Member savings depend on the account's membership link; Customer Relations can add the membership number to a profile when its discount is missing. Scroll up for the current BSI offers.

BSI Discount FAQs

Your BSI Knowledge account needs to be linked to your organization's active membership before you can purchase at the member rate. The link is arranged by customer services after you email your company name and membership number, if known. BSI can look up the number when you do not have it. You receive notification when the connection is complete, and logging in then enables purchases using your membership. Document selection still includes the version, digital or paper format and required quantity before adding the item. For subscription savings, the discount is confirmed in a quote and activation follows payment. Completing the account link establishes access to the member purchasing rate.
BSI Customer Relations can add your membership number to your profile when the member discount is not showing. This links the purchasing identity with the membership attached to your organization. The support team handles this through cservices@bsigroup.com, and BSI can also check whether your organization is already a member. Your Membership Administrator can request additional accounts to purchase using that membership and arrange access to benefits for colleagues. Account management becomes available after sign-in and includes personal details and order history. For an invoice purchase, the invoice option needs to be active before purchase because the member reduction may otherwise fail to apply.
BSI members receive discounts on BSI Knowledge subscriptions and Compliance Navigator core subscriptions. Knowledge provides access to a standards collection, while Compliance Navigator supports medical device manufacturers with regulatory compliance documents. The Knowledge subscription enquiry starts with a live demonstration, followed by a quote showing the fee and member discount. A Compliance Navigator enquiry goes to Compliance.Navigator@bsigroup.com for its own quote. Accepting the relevant quote and paying the fee leads to activation and linking with the company's membership. The reduction is 50% for the qualifying subscriptions. The separate subscription quotation establishes the scope of access and the saving before the service is activated.
Charities can claim special BSI rates for selected standards on accessible buildings and external environments through customer services. The offer covers the relevant parts of the accessibility standard, with a separate charity rate for each part. The buildings document addresses features such as entrances, reception facilities, internal movement and building facilities. Its companion covers the external environment, including routes around buildings, parking provision and public spaces. BSI directs eligible charity purchasers to contact customer services for the special rate. The offer is attached to those accessibility documents, so the requested part identifies the appropriate charity purchase. Selecting buildings or external environments determines which specially priced document is needed.
Qualifying regulators can receive a 35% BSI reduction on the listed parts of its soil sampling standards. Eligibility includes local authorities and the environmental regulators identified in the offer. Customer Relations places these discounted orders, and both hardcopy and PDF versions are covered. The eligible list includes guidance on sampling plans, handling samples, quality control, and recording and reporting. A qualifying invoicing or delivery address is required to establish the organization's entitlement. The selected part determines which document is ordered; the format determines whether the purchase is a paper document or digital file. Providing the eligible organization's address lets Customer Relations arrange the regulatory purchase.
A BSI purchase of more than 100 copies of the same standard qualifies for a bulk purchase discount. Additional copies are available through BSI Knowledge, and the bulk qualification concerns the number bought. Copies of purchased standards cannot simply be reproduced to replace those additional purchases. For digital access, each team member needs an appropriate licence; a BSI Knowledge subscription is another purchasing route when several users need multiple standards. The licensing enquiry considers the people accessing the material and how much content they need. BSI's Member Enquiry Service can help identify the relevant document before a large order. The qualifying quantity applies to copies of that selected standard.
You can expand a BSI Knowledge subscription by adding users, teams, modules or standards. The package determines the user allowance and content available, with administrators managing access within the platform. A Custom Collection holds selected documents and has a capacity that can be increased through your account manager. Existing collection documents can be removed and replaced once within a subscription cycle after the administrator asks Customer Experience to enable review mode. Modules group standards by topic, while a Custom Collection supports a chosen set of documents. These options allow the subscription to follow changing requirements. An increased collection allowance requires the account manager to arrange the change.
BSI members can inspect the full content of standards through a booked preview session before purchasing. The Member Enquiry Service provides 2 hours of access to the online catalogue for this purpose. The service's researchers also help locate standards for a topic, identify changes and establish whether a document addresses the intended requirement. They can guide members to tracked changes editions and provide previews of updated material. A session is arranged through knowledgecentre@bsigroup.com, allowing a member to examine the document before choosing a purchase. This benefit accompanies membership support for selecting standards. The preview gives the purchaser a way to establish relevance before committing to a discounted document order.
BSI Knowledge subscriptions renew automatically under the subscription agreement unless timely written termination notice is given or the Order Form specifies otherwise. The renewal period matches the initial subscription term, with a minimum duration of 12 months. Fees for the selected service are set out in the Order Form, and BSI may increase them at renewal after advance notice. The agreement also requires written notice before reducing the authorized user count for the next period. Subscription access is licensed to the authorized internal users specified for the organization. The renewal fee therefore follows the agreement and subscribed access. Reviewing the required users before renewal allows a notified reduction for the following term.
BSI standards purchase fees are non-refundable under its supply terms, with applicable statutory rights preserved. An accepted and delivered order is non-cancellable subject to the exceptions stated in those terms. For a wrong hardcopy version that has not been dispatched, Customer Relations may be able to amend the order. An accidental choice between Tracked Changes and the normal version can also be referred to the team for handling. Membership has a separate rule: cancellation must be requested within 30 days of Membership Contact setup, and refunds are unavailable after that period. The document's version and format are therefore purchase choices to settle before completing the order.
