Domain registration has its own annual price. A .co.uk or .uk domain costs £7.99 per year, and transferring either extension into Clook costs £0. A .com costs £12.99 per year, with a £12.99 transfer-in charge; .net and .org each cost £15.99 per year and the same amount to transfer. Optional ID Protect for eligible generic extensions costs £7 annually. Personal-use .uk domains can instead use WHOIS opt-out to keep address details private.
No extra purchase is needed for the included SSL certificates or WordPress migration. Clook's WordPress plans include free Let's Encrypt SSL and a free move from an existing host. The OptWeb packages also include WordPress Toolkit Deluxe, cPanel and LiteSpeed with LSCache. Each package includes a free resource power boost lasting 72 hours. Give at least five calendar days' notice before the term expires. Clook shared and reseller hosting is recurring and renews automatically unless that notice is given. Notices are sent to the nominated helpdesk email address; notice from a customer counts as given one clear day after the emailed helpdesk ticket ID arrives. Before the service ends, the customer must back up and download the data they want to retain after termination.
The free cPanel hosting migration offer is for new customers. Clook moves website files, databases and email from the previous provider, and the service can handle a move from cPanel or a different control panel. The transfer is managed by Clook's team rather than sold as a separate migration tool. On the hosting order, customers can use an existing domain and update its nameservers instead of registering another domain or transferring its registration.
