About TradeStation & Latest Deals

Trading platforms, analytics subscriptions, and online brokerage services.

Savings opportunities available through TradeStation coupon codes

TradeStation sells trading technology and brokerage services, with separate savings routes for each. TradeStation Analytics provides a desktop software subscription without requiring a brokerage account. The platform with RadarScreen is $99.99 monthly for non-professionals and $199.99 for professionals. Brokerage customers receive platform access and desktop add-on components through their accounts. Volume-based brokerage pricing lowers eligible charges as monthly trading activity reaches higher tiers. The monthly inactivity fee can also be waived through qualifying balances or trading activity. Subscription promotions use a field in the application; the offers on this page belong alongside the relevant subscription or brokerage conditions.

Service categories frequently on promotion

TradeStation subscription offers and brokerage volume discounts involve different services. Analytics covers charting and analysis through a desktop platform, while order placement and execution require a brokerage account. Non-brokerage technology pricing separates the platform with RadarScreen from the Portfolio Maestro backtesting tool, with OptionStation Pro included. Professional subscriber status affects the platform rate and may affect market data charges. Brokerage pricing tiers depend on activity within each asset class. Options and futures contracts count toward their respective thresholds, while eligible share volume determines stock tiers. Accounts tied to the same customer ID contribute within the same asset class.

Services usually excluded from promo codes

TradeStation lists market data services separately from software access and applies monthly fees to selected data packages. Optional real-time market data is another billing item: its fees are debited in advance and cannot be prorated or refunded. Portfolio Maestro has its own monthly non-brokerage subscription charge, rather than the platform’s RadarScreen rate. Analytics subscriptions cover analysis tools and do not include order placement, execution, or other brokerage services. Brokerage volume calculations also exclude sub-dollar and non-NMS share trades. These distinctions keep a subscription promotion, a market data selection, and an activity-based commission discount attached to their respective charges.

Impact of billing cycle on promotional price

TradeStation’s technology subscription pricing is monthly, and recurring charges are billed at the beginning of the month. A data subscription active on the first day generates a full month’s charge. Cancellation or service closure requests must arrive before month end to avoid the following month’s billing. Optional real-time data fees are collected in advance and cannot be prorated or refunded. The amount for a market data package may depend on professional subscriber status, and data fees are subject to change. Brokerage volume tiers follow another monthly schedule: a higher tier carries into the following month, while a lower tier starts with a new month.

Promo codes vs. automatically applied offers

TradeStation has a typed subscription promotion field and a separate automatic brokerage pricing mechanism. The subscription signup form labels its optional entry “Promotional Code” and places it after logon information. Volume tiers instead follow qualifying trading activity, with each asset class assessed separately. Reaching a higher tier in one asset class does not change qualification in another. Within an asset class, accounts linked to the same customer ID are combined. Futures commission discounts are delivered through a next-day credit after initial charges at the lowest tier. That credit mechanism applies to futures trading rather than the subscription promotion field.

Accessing active codes for TradeStation

TradeStation’s subscription signup places “Promotional Code” in step 1 of 4, below the username and password section. The form first requests personal information, including contact and address details, then logon information, followed by the optional promotion entry. Its next instruction is to click “continue” to enter Professional Subscriber information. That classification matters because technology subscription rates distinguish professionals from non-professionals, and market data fees may also depend on subscriber status. The next signup stage concerns professional subscriber information, while published technology pricing distinguishes those subscriber categories. Analytics access remains separate from brokerage order execution, which requires an application for a brokerage account.

TradeStation Coupon FAQ

TradeStation counts eligible shares and all types of options or futures contracts toward the volume tier for their respective asset classes. Sub-dollar and non-NMS share trades are excluded from share-volume qualification. The calculation combines accounts within an asset class when they share your customer ID. It does not combine stock activity with options or futures activity to establish a single cross-asset discount. After a threshold is reached, the newly eligible tier applies the next day and continues into the following month. During a month, qualification can move upward; a lower tier starts only with a new month. Futures discounts use a separate next-day commission credit mechanism.

TradeStation’s subscription promotion field is part of Analytics signup; brokerage volume discounts depend on qualifying trading activity. The subscription application places “Promotional Code” below Logon Information in its first step. Brokerage tiers instead use eligible shares or contracts within each asset class. Accounts associated with the same customer ID contribute to qualification within that class. A higher tier in one asset does not improve another asset’s tier. New qualification takes effect the next day and carries into the following month. For futures, commissions initially reflect the lowest tier, followed by a next-day credit for the qualifying discount. Analytics subscriptions do not include brokerage execution services.

Enter your TradeStation promotion in the optional “Promotional Code” field on step 1 of the subscription application. The form places it below Logon Information, after the username and password entries. Personal Information comes earlier and asks for contact and address details. After the promotion field, the application tells you to click “continue” to enter Professional Subscriber information. The next stage of this subscription signup concerns your Professional Subscriber information. Subscriber classification affects the monthly platform rate and can affect market data charges. For the platform with RadarScreen, the non-professional rate is $99.99 monthly, compared with the $199.99 monthly subscription rate for professionals.

TradeStation distinguishes professional and non-professional platform subscription rates, and market data fees may also depend on that status. The market data billing amount is subject to change, with subscriber classification affecting the applicable package fees. The signup form asks for Professional Subscriber information after its optional Promotional Code field. Optional real-time data services carry separate charges, collected in advance for the upcoming month, and these payments cannot be prorated or refunded. TradeStation provides assistance by phone, email, live chat, and the online Client Center. Questions about whether professional market data subscription fees apply can be taken directly to TradeStation before selecting the corresponding data services.

A TradeStation higher volume tier carries into the following month after you qualify through eligible trading activity. The new tier applies the day after you become eligible. You start each month at the highest tier reached in the preceding month and can move higher again during that month. A move to a lower tier happens only at the start of a new month. Qualification is calculated separately for each asset class, so reaching a higher tier in one does not qualify another. Within an asset class, activity is summed across accounts associated with the same customer ID. Eligible shares and contracts determine the relevant volume calculation.

TradeStation combines accounts within the same asset class when they are associated with your customer ID. The volume calculation is therefore tied to that customer ID rather than each account being assessed alone. Shares count toward the stock calculation except for sub-dollar and non-NMS trades. Options and futures calculations include any type of contract traded in the respective asset class. Qualification in one asset does not improve the tier for another. A newly eligible tier applies the following day and is carried into the following month. The highest tier reached in the prior month sets the opening tier for the next month’s activity.

Call TradeStation Client Services before month end to cancel your platform subscription and prevent the following month’s billing. Requests to close an account or service must likewise be received before the end of the month to avoid subsequent charges. TradeStation bills recurring charges at the beginning of each month. A data service still active when the new billing month begins is charged for the entire billing period. Optional real-time data payments are collected ahead of the upcoming month and cannot be refunded or prorated. In HUB, the Manage menu leads to Manage software and data subscriptions, where the software and data selections are managed.

TradeStation waives the monthly brokerage inactivity fee through a qualifying equity balance or the required trading activity. The fee is $10 per brokerage account. Qualification requires a $5,000 average end-of-month equity balance during the previous 90-day period, or at least ten trades during that period. Brokerage customers also receive desktop, web, and mobile platform access with the desktop add-on components. Funded brokerage accounts have free simulated accounts. Commission volume tiers are a separate calculation based on each asset class, with eligible accounts grouped by customer ID. The inactivity waiver’s balance or trade requirement applies over its specified period rather than the monthly volume-tier schedule.

TradeStation’s optional real-time market data fees cannot be refunded or prorated, including data selected alongside a subscription promotion. These fees are debited in advance for the upcoming month. If a data subscription is active on the first day, the billing covers that entire month. Professional subscriber classification may affect the amount charged for a data package, and the fees are subject to change. The software and data selections are managed through HUB by choosing Manage, then Manage software and data subscriptions. Requests to cancel or close a service must arrive before month end to avoid charges for the following month.

TradeStation credits qualifying futures volume discounts the next day after initially charging commissions at the lowest tier. The credit reflects the discount for the tier you qualify for. This adjustment mechanism applies specifically to futures trading. Any type of futures contract traded is included in the futures volume calculation, and accounts associated with your customer ID contribute within that asset class. Higher qualification in another asset class does not alter the futures tier. A newly eligible pricing tier applies the day after qualification and carries into the following month. The highest tier you reached in the preceding month determines the tier at the beginning of the next month.
