Any refund due uses the original payment method and is processed within fourteen days of notifying Trint. After cooling-off, monthly cancellation leaves access until the paid month ends without refunding unused days.
Trint allows a refund request within fourteen days after each automatic annual renewal. A full refund of the annual renewal payment applies when transcription usage stays at or below the Fair Use allowance during that window. Above that allowance, Trint deducts one month’s Monthly Subscription fee at the current rate for your tier and refunds the balance. The request can be made through Cancel Subscription in Account settings or by emailing support@trint.com. Once the renewal refund window has passed, annual cancellation leaves the subscription running until the paid annual period ends. The renewed annual subscription remains subject to its selected tier and billing period.
Trint’s seven-day free trial requires no credit card. Creating a new account starts the trial automatically, with access to the Pro Plan and transcription of up to three files. A subscription requires payment details when you decide to continue after that trial. Without a subscription, the trial ends automatically on the eighth day, so there is no need to end it prematurely. The signup form asks for your name, work email and password and agreement to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Joining before the trial finishes is possible through Account, where the purchase flow lets you select a paid plan before checkout.
You can subscribe before the Trint trial ends and choose annual billing for its discount. Open the initials icon in the web app and choose Account to enter the purchase flow. Applicable VAT and sales taxes are additional under the subscription terms. Monthly plans collect payment monthly and yearly plans collect payment yearly. Trint permits a tier upgrade within an existing annual subscription. Moving to a higher tier immediately charges the prorated difference for the remainder of the year and gives access to the new tier’s benefits. Account settings provides Change plan, then the available plans and a payment page with Upgrade now. The billing date stays the same after the upgrade. Additional seats also take effect immediately with a prorated charge for the remainder of the billing cycle, subject to the plan’s permitted seat count. A tier downgrade instead takes effect when the current paid term ends, when the benefits of the higher tier are removed.
