No. VPS plans use a refund for unused days during the first month of service, rather than the shared-hosting guarantee. If a new VPS customer cancels after using five days of that first month, the refundable amount corresponds to the remaining days, roughly 25 days in Brontobytes' example. This VPS refund applies only during that first month. Setup fees and one-time fees are non-refundable under the payment conditions.

The system cancels at the selected time, and cancellation removes the website files, data and email from Brontobytes' servers.
Yes. Select your hosting plan, then choose 'I have a domain and will update my nameservers' on the order form. This option keeps the domain with its current registrar rather than transferring its registration to Brontobytes. After payment, the hosting welcome email contains the server login information and the nameservers. Update the domain's nameservers or DNS through the existing registrar's domain control panel so the website uses the purchased Brontobytes hosting.
The charge depends on when you upgrade after your last payment. During the first two weeks, you pay the difference for the higher package, with the new subscription using the next payment date. After those two weeks, you pay the new package price and start using it with a new date. The old subscription is subject to cancellation after the new one is established. Renewal notifications can still arrive from Brontobytes or its parent registrar until the domain expires. Once the domain expires, it is no longer yours and someone else can register it. Hosting cancellation uses a separate service cancellation request.
