Payment processing, subscription billing, invoicing, and business financial tools.

Savings opportunities available through Stripe coupon codes

Stripe offers ways to reduce payment and software fees through business-specific discounts and product credits. Its tools cover Payments, Billing, Invoicing, Tax, and company formation through Atlas. Custom pricing includes volume and multi-product discounts for businesses with substantial payment activity or distinct business models. Eligible nonprofits can request lower processing fees for donation-focused accounts. Atlas companies receive $2,500 in Stripe product credits for their first year after incorporation. Venture-backed businesses can also apply for startup benefits, with the approved offer determined by eligibility and referral source.

Eligible products and services

Service categories frequently on promotion

Stripe discounts depend on the product, usage level, and account arrangement. Billing has Pay as you go pricing at 0.7% of Billing volume, including transactions processed both on and off Stripe. Its Pay monthly option uses an annual subscription billed monthly, with a chosen volume entitlement and a separate rate for additional volume. Payments has Standard and Custom pricing, with country-specific rates available through a custom package. Startup fee credits can cover eligible fees across Payments, Connect, Billing, Tax, and Stripe Sigma, rather than only card processing.

Services usually excluded from promo codes

Stripe Atlas fee credits exclude Crypto, Capital, Atlas services, Terminal devices, Link passthrough, payment-provider fees specified in the credit terms, and Professional services. Registered agent renewal fees are also outside the Atlas credit benefit. A subscription's advertised fee excludes applicable taxes unless expressly stated otherwise, and usage beyond its entitlement can incur overage charges. Nonprofit eligibility has a separate boundary: membership fees, tuition, tickets, registration fees, and auction payments do not count toward qualifying donations. These conditions distinguish credit coverage, subscription additions, and donation-based discount eligibility.

Factors influencing the final discount value

Impact of billing cycle on promotional price

Stripe Sigma's entry subscription in Romania is 66 lei per month on Monthly subscription or 44 lei per month on Annual subscription. The annual option offers a lower monthly rate, and annual Stripe subscriptions are paid monthly under an annual commitment. Additional charges have their own overage rate, so the subscription fee and usage allowance both affect the total. Standard subscriptions renew automatically for another applicable term unless cancellation is scheduled before renewal. Atlas registered agent service renews at $100 annually after the included first year.

Promo codes vs. automatically applied offers

Stripe benefits use different activation rules. Atlas credits start automatically when the company is incorporated, while an approved Startups offer needs acceptance through the account Dashboard. A startup can redeem only one Startups offer in its lifetime, assigned to an individual account. Eligible Atlas and Startups credits can coexist; this is a specific combination permitted by those programs. When several fee credits are active, Stripe allocates each fee to one credit according to its priority rules. General trial or promotional rates end under their stated terms, after which applicable service fees begin.

Accessing active codes for Stripe

Stripe account setup starts with Email, Full name, Password, and Country, followed by Create account. Startup applications use Apply now or an investor referral; approved applicants receive acceptance instructions by email. An owner or administrator then accepts the offer in the Dashboard. Fee credit details identify eligibility, expiration, and remaining amounts, with Not active and Active statuses distinguishing acceptance from automatic use. The offers on this page should be matched to the intended account; each startup benefit is allocated to an individual account. Scroll up for the current Stripe offers.

Stripe Discount FAQs

You redeem an approved Stripe Startups discount through the acceptance banner or setup guide task in your Dashboard. Access to that acceptance step requires an administrator or owner account, and the account must be active with its business setup completed. Approval comes with an email explaining the approved benefit and how to accept it. The program accepts applications directly or through an investor's referral link, with proof of institutional funding required. Offers belong to individual accounts, including when several accounts share an email address. The Profile area lists the Account ID, which identifies the account receiving the benefit before the application is submitted.

Your Stripe fee-credit discount needs an active credit and eligible fees; some payment fees also require the standalone-fee setting. Not active means the credit has not started covering eligible charges, while Active means Stripe applies it automatically. You can accept the terms and activate an inactive credit from its credit details view. Certain card and local-payment fees must be charged separately before credits can cover them. The Eligibility section includes Apply credits to more products for that change, which is an account-level setting. Product usage created before activation is outside credit coverage even when invoiced later. The same details view identifies the fees eligible for your particular credit.

Yes, qualifying Stripe Startups credits can be used alongside your Atlas credits. Eligibility for the additional benefit still matters; receiving Atlas credits does not replace the separate Startups application requirements. Atlas credits are assigned to the Atlas account automatically after incorporation and cannot move to another Stripe account. Their balance and the fees they have covered appear in Reports under Fee Credits. The Atlas benefit ends when its credit allowance is exhausted or its incorporation-based validity period finishes, and its activation cannot be postponed or extended. That account-specific allocation determines where the combined benefits can be used. Fee Credits provides the remaining balance for planning eligible product usage.

You request Stripe's nonprofit discount through support after meeting its registration, region, and donation-volume requirements. At least 80% of Stripe payment volume must come from tax-deductible donations, and the organization needs valid nonprofit tax documentation. The discount is for accounts primarily accepting donations, rather than selling products or tickets. Existing users access the contact form through the account that will receive the nonprofit rate; new users first activate their account. The request includes the Account ID, registered email, donation-volume confirmation, tax registration details, and tax-exempt documentation. Membership, tuition, ticket, registration, and auction payments do not satisfy the donation threshold. The documentation accompanying the request establishes the organization's qualifying nonprofit status.

Stripe subscription fees are non-refundable, including when you cancel before the end of the subscription term. Cancellation does not create a prorated refund, and the full term's fees remain payable together with applicable taxes and overages. An account administrator can schedule cancellation through Dashboard settings under Your plans. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current term, rather than removing the remaining commitment. At that point, the account moves to pay-as-you-go pricing where available and loses unused subscription entitlements. Services without a pay-as-you-go option become inaccessible after the term finishes. Scheduling cancellation before renewal prevents another subscription term from starting automatically.

Yes, new Stripe Sigma users receive a free 30-day trial before committing to a paid subscription. Stripe also makes Sigma available free in sandboxes, where queries use test data and have no usage limits. Sandbox activity does not count against a charge-based entitlement or incur fees, so it provides a separate way to explore the service. Sigma queries are read-only and cannot create transactions or change existing data. Paid subscription enrollment is available through Your plans in the Dashboard. An active Sigma subscription can be canceled from Sigma settings with Cancel Stripe Sigma subscription, with access continuing through the billing cycle's end. Sandbox exploration leaves paid usage allowances untouched.

Stripe Billing's annual subscription covers its chosen volume entitlement, while extra Billing volume has a separate overage rate. The Pay monthly arrangement is an annual subscription paid monthly, with the volume tier selected for the business. Additional Billing volume is charged at 0.67%, separately from the included allowance. The alternative Pay as you go option charges 0.7% of Billing volume without recurring fees. Billing volume includes transactions processed on and off Stripe and excludes one-off invoices. Businesses with large Billing volume or unique business models can request custom pricing through Contact sales. Choosing a tier with the required included volume changes how much usage falls into the overage calculation.

Eligible Stripe Atlas users can earn their incorporation fee back by funding a qualifying Stripe Treasury account and maintaining the required balance. The offer requires deposits totaling at least $5,000 within 90 days of incorporation and a minimum $5,000 balance maintained for 30 days. Rewards are deposited into the financial account 30 days after the deposit and balance requirements are met. The account must remain open and in good standing both when qualification is achieved and when the reward is paid. Stripe may disqualify misuse of the promotion and may change or end the offer. Maintaining the required balance for the full qualifying period is part of earning the refund.

Stripe resumes charging your regular balance once fee credits end and no other credits remain active. For credits recorded as balance transactions, a transaction exceeding the remaining credit generates separate deductions from the credit balance and the regular payment balance. Those deductions share a fee transaction identifier, allowing the amounts to be reconciled. Both deductions are created on the same day and carry similar descriptions. Fee deductions in balance transactions are aggregated, while the Fees Report provides individual charge detail. The shared identifier also links credit deductions to Balance Summary, Activity, and Payments Fees reports. For individual charges, the Fees Report can be joined to balance transactions using the shared fee transaction identifier.

Stripe applies its published service fees when a trial or promotional discount expires or is terminated. If a purchased subscription starts instead, that subscription begins under its own plan terms. Trials and promotions can carry additional taxes and conditions communicated for the particular benefit. Payments offers pay-as-you-go Standard pricing and custom packages for qualifying business needs, while individual products have their own fee schedules. Stripe can collect amounts owed from the account balance, charge a primary payment method such as a credit card, or issue an invoice. Unless a written agreement or applicable law provides otherwise, paid fees are non-refundable. A written pricing agreement can establish fees different from the published schedule.
