Online business certificate courses and credential programs.

Savings opportunities available through Harvard Business School coupon codes

Harvard Business School offers online certificate and credential programs, with several defined routes to reduce tuition. Eligible past participants receive 30 percent off subsequent qualifying programs. Income-Based Grants support eligible first-time learners, while Military Grants serve qualifying active service members and veterans. Core Business Essentials bundles three courses and advertises savings of $1,800+ compared with separate enrollment. These routes have different eligibility requirements. Past Participant Pricing excludes the first purchased program, and grants cannot be combined with other discounts. The offers on this page belong alongside those program-specific eligibility rules.

Eligible products and services

Service categories frequently on promotion

Discount eligibility depends on the program and the participant’s enrollment history. Past Participant Pricing takes 30 percent off the current cost of a qualifying subsequent program. That calculation uses the Program Fee at payment rather than the fee from a previous enrollment. Harvard Business School’s online subjects include marketing, strategy, leadership and management, finance and accounting, and entrepreneurship and innovation. Core Business Essentials has its own three-course bundle structure, priced at $2,799. It is excluded from Past Participant Pricing. Grants are available for eligible programs, with separate rules for the Income-Based Grant and Military Grant.

Services usually excluded from promo codes

Past Participant Pricing excludes Core Business Essentials, Sprints, the Credential of Digital Innovation and Strategy, and the Credential of Leadership, Impact, and Management in Business. Programs within a corporate learning package are also excluded from that discount. Sample Business Lessons do not establish eligibility until the participant completes an eligible paid certificate program. Harvard Business School’s program discount policy also excludes nonresident aliens for U.S. tax purposes from discounts on courses taken while present in the U.S. Program Fees exclude international taxes, and refund-eligible withdrawals retain a nonrefundable $100 processing fee.

Factors influencing the final discount value

Impact of billing cycle on promotional price

Harvard Business School’s online enrollment requires the net Program Fee to be paid in full in U.S. dollars before the enrollment deadline. Payment can be split across two credit card transactions, with a minimum first transaction of $350. This payment arrangement still requires the full balance by the deadline. Sprint enrollment requires full payment and does not allow partial payments. Past Participant Pricing concerns a subsequent qualifying program purchase, rather than a recurring subscription payment. Its eligibility begins after the first qualifying program’s withdrawal deadline, measured from when materials become available.

Promo codes vs. automatically applied offers

Past Participant Pricing applies automatically to the Program Fee at payment for eligible learners. Harvard Business School also provides program discount codes from time to time, subject to its discount eligibility policy. Automatic past participant pricing cannot be combined with scholarships, financial aid, or other offers. Only one instance of that pricing benefit can be used per order. Grants follow their own restriction against combining with other discounts and cannot be applied retroactively to a completed enrollment. A grant must be used for an eligible enrollment before its assigned expiration date.

Accessing active codes for Harvard Business School

Eligible past participants access their discount through the Program Fee at payment, where Past Participant Pricing is applied automatically. The benefit is unavailable after payment has been submitted. Harvard Business School makes eligible grant options available on the account page under the Financial Aid tab. A grant award cannot be added retroactively to a completed enrollment. The full net Program Fee must be paid before the course’s enrollment deadline. For on-demand programs, successful payment leads to an access email and access on the account dashboard; access begins when granted, rather than at first login. Harvard Business School Discount FAQs

No, eligible Harvard Business School learners receive Past Participant Pricing automatically when paying for a qualifying subsequent program. The reduction is calculated against the current Program Fee, rather than a previous course’s tuition. Eligibility requires an earlier qualifying purchase and begins only after that program’s withdrawal deadline has passed. Completion or certificate status does not determine eligibility for an otherwise qualifying first purchase. The benefit is unavailable after submitting payment and cannot be transferred or sold. It also cannot be exchanged for cash. For a subsequent enrollment, eligibility and automatic application therefore matter before money is submitted, rather than through a later adjustment to a completed payment.

Past Participant Pricing does not apply to your first purchased Harvard Business School online program. Eligible first-time learners can instead apply for an Income-Based Grant for their first grant-eligible enrollment. The application asks for annual household income, household size, dependents, and answers to two essay questions. An eligible participant can use that grant only once for a single enrollment. Enrollment in an individual Sprint does not affect eligibility for a future Income-Based Grant. After enrolling in a grant-eligible course or program, the participant cannot apply for this grant again. Eligible grant application options appear on the account page’s Financial Aid tab during enrollment.

Harvard Business School excludes Sprints, Core Business Essentials, specified credential programs, and corporate learning packages from Past Participant Pricing. The excluded credentials are the Credential of Leadership, Impact, and Management in Business and the Credential of Digital Innovation and Strategy. The restriction applies to the program being purchased with the past participant benefit. Taking Sample Business Lessons also does not establish eligibility until an eligible paid certificate program is completed. A qualifying prior purchase must pass its withdrawal deadline before the benefit becomes available. Participants who refund that first purchase lose eligibility. These program and purchase-history conditions determine whether automatic pricing can apply at payment.

Harvard Business School Past Participant Pricing cannot be combined with scholarships, financial aid, or other offers. Only one instance of the past participant benefit is permitted per order. Grant awards have a separate restriction: they cannot be combined with other discounts or applied retroactively to a completed enrollment. An award can be used only once for an eligible course accepting enrollments. The recipient must finish enrollment before the award’s assigned expiration date. A different available cohort may be needed to use the grant within its conditions. If an award expires unused, the learner can apply again during the next grant application window.

Harvard Business School offers a Military Grant to qualifying active service members and veterans of the U.S. military. The award can be used only once for a single enrollment. Individual Sprint enrollments are excluded from the Military Grant. Applicants must provide a scanned document confirming current or prior military status. Accepted examples include Military Leave and Earning Statements, a Discharge Certificate, or a Veteran’s license. Eligible grant options appear under Financial Aid on the account page during enrollment. Grant awards cannot be combined with other discounts or added after enrollment is completed. Award recipients must complete their eligible enrollment before the designated grant expiration date.

Harvard Business School’s individually enrolled certificate and credential program refund policy allows timely withdrawal, with a $100 processing fee deducted. The request must be made by 24 hours after the program starts. That deadline runs from when course materials become available, rather than the participant’s first login. The account action for requesting withdrawal is “Change Program Status” for the relevant program. Refunds return to the original payment method used during enrollment. Withdrawal after the deadline does not qualify for a refund unless the school elects otherwise. Refunding a first qualifying purchase also removes eligibility for Past Participant Pricing on subsequent programs.

The Harvard Business School on-demand refund window begins when program access is granted, rather than when you first log in. Participants can request withdrawal with refund up to 24 hours after receiving access. Successful payment produces an access email within two hours, and access also appears on the account dashboard. The dashboard indicates the full duration of access. A refund request uses “Change Program Status” for the relevant program in the account. Each Program Fee includes a nonrefundable $100 processing fee, which is deducted from a refund. The remainder goes to the original enrollment payment method. The materials-availability time controls eligibility even if the participant has not opened them.

Harvard Business School Sprint enrollments are not eligible for refunds, and purchases become final after payment and access are granted. Sprint participants cannot use self-service withdrawals. Full payment is required to complete enrollment, and partial payments are unavailable for Sprints. Multiple failed card payment attempts can lock the account and prevent enrollment from continuing. The school also does not refund payments for the purpose of changing a participant’s payment method. These Sprint rules differ from the withdrawal process for certificate programs. Past Participant Pricing excludes Sprints, and individual Sprint enrollments are also excluded from Military Grants. Payment and program type therefore determine both discount eligibility and the applicable refund treatment.

Harvard Business School accepts credit and debit cards, PayPal, wire transfers, Western Union, and bank loans when available. Accepted card brands include Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and AMEX. Eligible Past Participant Pricing is applied automatically to the Program Fee at payment. The net fee must be paid in full in U.S. dollars before the course’s enrollment deadline. Payments may be split across two credit card transactions, with at least $350 required for the first transaction. A payment link can also be sent to another individual to pay on the learner’s behalf. Program Fees exclude international taxes, and the school does not issue refunds solely to change the payment method.

You lose Harvard Business School Past Participant Pricing when deferring from an eligible cohort to a cohort that is ineligible for it. Deferrals remain subject to the standard program policies. The benefit is attached to a qualifying enrollment and cannot be transferred or sold. It also cannot be exchanged for cash. Grant-funded enrollments have a separate timing requirement: the award must be used before the designated expiration date. A recipient may need to change to an available cohort to use the grant. Grants cannot be applied retroactively after enrollment is completed. The destination cohort’s eligibility and the grant’s use deadline therefore control whether the selected financial benefit can be retained.
