How the SwissBorg referral code works
The SwissBorg referral code is for people who are new to the app and have never created a SwissBorg account before. You confirm the Referral code while creating your account and pass the first verification step. SwissBorg's referral program then rewards the new user with Bitcoin after completing the onboarding tasks.
SwissBorg says the amount depends on the reward option chosen and on the challenge in your region, and that the maximum is not a fixed amount.
SwissBorg referral code and exchange fees
SwissBorg's Pricing Policy lists an exchange fee of 0.99% for every Loyalty Rank, with a minimum single exchange of 5 EUR. Bank transfer and crypto deposits are free, while card, Apple Pay and Google Pay deposits carry fees.
The referral reward is paid in Bitcoin, so it is separate from these fees.
Why a SwissBorg referral code may not work
SwissBorg requires that you have never created an account before and are cleared of any ongoing KYC verification. The challenge in the referral program must be completed, and you must live in a country where the program is supported. Promotion abuse or other misconduct breaks the program's rules.
If you register by QR code, SwissBorg says you also have to type the Referral code manually during account creation. A code can be added up to 7 days after creating the account, in the Referrals section.

SwissBorg states that it operates the app under MiCA license number A2026-011 in France, held by BlockNodes SAS, and that SBorg SA owns the application. It lists MPC keyless technology, passkeys and segregated funds among its security measures. The app is available in 47 countries, and services are not available in the USA. SwissBorg's own risk notice says the entire amount invested may be lost, and this page is not investment advice.
